May I answer your question with a resounding "No! NOTHING more wonderful and glorious."? (Also, sooo important to me... the joy of unsaved loved ones coming to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.) But for ME (my life), I'd agree nothing tops that sacred, precious closeness with Him. His sweet fellowship and matchless presence!!! And how I long to one day hear Him say, as in Matthew 25:21- "His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." @turtletwo and @Not me I love the fact this is our reason of existing. To glorify the Lord and to be with Jesus forever. I totally agree there is nothing more wonderful and glorious than getting to know Jesus more and more on a one to one basis. How lovely that He does it that way. We each individually have His full attention permanently and will so do forever. Oh, to finally get Home and to see Him. See His face! Awesome.

I’m sure you see and understand the thought, but to encourage do I write. Amen. To let Him shine through us (as vessels or clay pots.) To let the love of Christ flow out is the best way to reach them. I agree.

But if I may, I too have struggled with some I love, that don’t seem to know Christ, or aren’t established in Him much.... So I’ve struggled on what the proper stance should be?? I’ve concluded that the greatest help I can be to them, is to get as close to Christ as I possibly can. I’m sure you see and understand the thought, but to encourage do I write. Be blessed, as we give Him our all, Not me That is a great way of putting it, that to be the greatest help to loved ones, is to get as close to Christ as we possibly can. Then we will radiate His love. @Not me I also pray to the Lord that they will come to know Him as their Lord and Savior and anything you want me to say or do, please tell me. Trying to do things in our own strength, no matter how good the intentions are, could make things worse. We need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and allow the Lord to direct us on this. 1

Thanks for the lovely reminder. Again, this brought to mind a scripture and a hymn. "Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister these things, which are reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you by the Holy ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels long to look into." (1 Peter 1:12) It seems the angels are fascinated by salvation. Yet it is something they can not comprehend since it was never offered to them. Only humans could be redeemed. A Song Holy Angels Cannot Sing Angels never knew the joy that is mine For the blood has never washed their sins away Though they sing in heaven there will come a time When silently they'll listen as I sing Amazing Grace Chorus- It's a song holy angels cannot sing Amazing Grace how sweet the sound It's a song holy angels cannot sing I once was lost but now I’m found Holy is the Lord the angels sing Before the throne of God continually For me to join their song it’ll be a natural thing They just won't know the words to Love Lifted Me 1

Peter calls it joy unspeakable and full of glory. No wonder David says this ONE thing have I desired of the Lord that I will seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.
