I doubt there is ANY prophesied event that must happen before Jesus can come for His bride.

I think we are at the very end. Last year I was sure He would come before 2019. This year I am sure He will come before 2020. This is what the church has believed for centuries.

Thanks, Wing. I seem to have an interest of late since reading various theories at the forum. I have never made a serious study of the end times, although I have heard many ideas over the years. I was otherwise occupied and just figured to leave it in the Lord's hands.

Not necessarily specifics, but the general outline. https://www.kjvbible.org/daniel.html Hi Alive Out of all the prophets God sent, the book of Daniel lays the foundation and holds the key to understanding certain end time events as written in the book of Revelation. Without the book of Daniel, the book of Revelation would remained sealed. The two books go together like a glove concerning the end time beast and the Son of Perdition who's end is destruction, and who leads the ungodly into a final state of desolation. Daniel showed us that all kingdoms of man must come to an end, right up to the last one. He showed us how this end time kingdom came into existence and the nature of this kingdom, how wicked it is. He gave us specific details so that we can know what's coming, experience it, and testify that the Word of God is true as declared thousands of years ago and for us living in the end times who serve the Lord can be better prepared.

The Apostle Paul included himself with the pronoun 'we' expecting Christ back even in his lifetime. 1 Thessalonians 4:15 (KJV) For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. No issues with that. For much of my Christian Life, I did also--I am no longer sure of that. My heart and mind is open. I find that in my inner man, I do hope, yearn and 'look' for Him even now. In my natural mind and through reading scripture, I am simply no certain.
