true, ignorance is no excuse .. and not fair to assume Eve just said that and made it all seem so innocent .. and Eve could only deceive Adam IF Adam let her .. he could have pinned her down to give all info about Satan .. I think the account in Genesis shows clearly that Adam chose to eat the fruit, knowing he would disobeying the Lord in doing so

It could be that Adam didn't want to be separated from Eve and didn't want her to be alone in her punishment - so he chose to wilfully sin and eat the fruit in order to share her fate - meaning perhaps that he loved Eve more than he loved God.  Just a thought.

None of the men / disciples went anywhere near that tomb for fear.

The women went to properly treat the body of the Lord which had been hastily

placed in the tomb three days earlier.

It's possible that only women went to the tomb at first because they may have considered harmless by the authorities.  On the other hand, if men went there they might have come under suspicion and thus put themselves in danger.

Gen 3 was a disaster and Adam ushered in the legacy of death. However, the real depravity came in Gen 6.

That is what the ancients thought and the early church. The principalities etc. have done a great job of white washing this out of our teachings.

Angels itself is a misnomer that has been around since the Old Testament.

Cherbs, Seraphs, Teraphs... some looked like men (and apparently women) others like animals (or at least with the faces of animals and birds)

some had two wings, others had six wings.

ANGEL simply means "messenger."

Ths is how people who are sent can be referred to as angels.

This is how The ANGEL OF THE LORD was Jesus preincarnate or at times

the Holy Spirit. The Father sent Jesus, and both Jesus and the Father sent the Holy Spirit

(John 14:26 / John 15:26).

Lucifer before he fell was a guardian cherub that covereth...

Yes, John. I'm very aware of this. The study of angels is not a foreign subject to me.

Seriously, Roger? I suppose you'd quote this to Queen Esther. Well, maybe you would.

Well Roger, Jesus had this to say about children. And yes, I know what it means.

Matthew 18:3 KJV3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Not to interrupt the teacher.

Sisters are just as important in The Almighties army as brothers. Deborah did a great job. A few more that was commended in the word is.

I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:

Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.

Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ.

Greet Mary, who bestowed much labour on us.

Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellow-prisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me.

Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord.

Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved.

10 Salute Apelles approved in Christ. Salute them which are of Aristobulus' household.

11 Salute Herodion my kinsman. Greet them that be of the household of Narcissus, which are in the Lord.

12 Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. Salute the beloved Persis, which laboured much in the Lord.

13 Salute Rufus chosen in the Lord, and his mother and mine.

14 Salute Asyncritus, Phlegon, Hermas, Patrobas, Hermes, and the brethren which are with them.

15 Salute Philologus, and Julia, Nereus, and his sister, and Olympas, and all the saints which are with them.

16 Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you.

17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

I can't help but notice that some who swear by Paul's writing on some things are quick to dismiss other parts such as this scripture. The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is important to read all things in context and it is also important to build line upon line and precept upon precept, but not its also important to only pick and choose the scriptures you want to simply help you in your own personal doctrinal grid.

And if you actually read what I said you saw that Adam's ignorance

was not an excuse. He sinned. He fell.

He died before the day was out (2 Peter 3:8 a day according to the Lord's

time scale that is).

AND I said Adam was held responsible for both sins.

Time to chill a moment, breathe, read what is written before firing in an answer

or what you think an answer is...

Be blessed!

But I think it's wrong to suggest women are inferior to men, even if Paul thought as much.
