I don't know. I think that whenever the Temple is rebuilt it will take a strong person with a will to destroy many people. 

If a Temple is rebuilt in Israel the Islamic faith will be quite upset. The Jews say the Temple goes on the Mount. The Muslim world will not be happy with this. I don't see the Pope or an American President as either strong enough nor regionally close enough to affect Israel's protection nor defeat the armies that will oppose a rebuilt Temple.

Gee what are we going to do with that piece of information. Well, we know that some unknown event is going to occur at 5 minutes and 40 seconds. I wonder what unknown event that could be? Well, it can't possibly be that we are going to receive the raspberry snow cone that we ordered, because did you notice that there is an "and" in there. That means that we receive our raspberry snow cone at the same time we order it. I'm not sure what that 5 minutes 40 seconds is all about. It's one of those mysteries like you see in  scripture.

The beast kills the two witnesses during the second woe. Armageddon has not happened yet. So the 1260 days witnessing is not the same exact time frame as the 42 months.

Many people incorrectly think that the daily sacrifice is taken away on day 1260. So if we add 1290 days to day 1260 we get day 2550. There are only 2520 days in the week. That would mean that the abomination of desolation would happen after the week is over.

The correct calculation is that the daily sacrifice is taken away on day 1185 and the abomination of desolation is set up on day 2475. That leaves 45 days of great tribulation. At the end of the week Jesus returns for the gathering from heaven and earth. This gathering takes place at the SIXTH SEAL. There is yet 42 months of God's wrath to go.

The 70th week is the time of Jacobs trouble. It is not the same time frame as the wrath of God.

Well considering that Christ was actually crucified around 29AD(according the Herod's death in 4BC) and that a "prophetic" year is actually 360 days, you would have to account for all those extra days from our standard 365. And even the leap years, about 25 per century. So then adding it all up would make it about 28-29 years...meaning it is technically only around 1991-92 in prophetic timing. And so when 2028 rolls around it would really be the year 2000, give or take. But i am a big believer in a shortened Great Trib. by much more than just one year, or otherwise no one would still be around, "no flesh would be saved". But it most definitely won't be 7 years of hell on earth, I can guarantee that!

Also not sure if anyone is familiar with the 1908 Tunguska event in Russia, but Wikipedia will give you all the details. Just something to think about as far as the 120 year generation is concerned.

Of course you are "unaware." Preconceptions do that to everyone. This is very basic:

1.  There is a future "70th week" or time of Jacob's trouble. 

2. This time of Jacob's trouble will be 7 lunar years - 2520 days long - 84 months long. 

3. On the 1260th day into this 7 years, the man of sin will enter the new Jewish temple and declare HE is the God of the Jews (the God that created everything).

4. From that event to the end of the week will be another 1260 days. 

5. That event will be "marked" in heaven by the 7th trumpet.

6.  There will be 42 months of trampling that will start just a few days before the 7th trumpet. 

7. There will be 1260 days of testifying that will start just 3.5 days before the 7th trumpet.

8. There will be 1260 days of fleeing that will start just seconds after the 7th trumpet. 

9. There will be 3.5 years of supernatural protection that will start soon after the 7th trumpet.

10. There will be 42 months of authority given to the Beast that will begin some unknown time after the 7th trumpet.

11. There will be some unknown event that will happen 1290 days after the 7th trumpet.

12. There will be some unknown event that will happen 1335 days after the 7th trumpet. 

See how simple this is with no preconceptions? Just taking Daniel and John at their word.

 

Finally, learn the difference between "and" and "to."

It is a myth that Herod died in 4 BC.  So the 29 AD is also a myth.  The stars and planets don't lie. According to planetarium software and Rev. 12:1, Jesus was born in 2 BC.  From 10 BC to 10 AD, 2 BC is the only year that Virgo was "clothed with the sun" and had the moon at her feet. 

In 4BC the sun is at her head: hardly "clothed."  In 3 BC the sun is over her left forearm: again hardly "clothed."  in 2 BC the sun  is on her left shoulder - the closed I can come in my mind to her being "clothed."  In 1 BC the sun is at her finger tips of her left arm.  In 1 AD the sun is at her left elbow.  Science of the planets is probably very precise: understanding "clothed with the sun" may not be.
