  That reminds me, I do want to clarify something that your post reminded me of.

I do not believe the RFID Chip is the mark of the beast.  Not even close.  I believe it's just one of the baby steps on the way to it.  Being a pre-tribulation rapture believer, I believe the mark of the beast will not be implemented until after the rapture has taken place.  I believe it will happen around the half-way point of the 7 year tribulation, during the time of the Great Tribulation (the last three and a half years of the tribulation). 

This isn't a rapture defense thread, but I just wanted to clarify my opinion that I don't believe the RFID chip is the mark of the beast.

Well I have not been able to convince myself of a pre trib rapture, but I sure am ready to go. We are in agreement of when the mark will appear. I really hope and pray that your are right about the rapture.... but this is not the place for that discussion.

Being that I started this thread, I'm going to go ahead and hijack it one more time with one more rapture thought... (I'm not fussy about my threads being hijacked as long as the original post in the thread has been discussed and people remain respectful. I enjoy seeing routes that conversations can take.)

While I am Pre-Trib, I will also say that I'm prepared for Post-Trib in the event the Posties are right. (I find absolutely no validation for Mid-Trib.) I am not afraid of death and would count it an honor to die for my Lord. I have no need or pride about having to be right. There are much wiser people in the world than I! I have no delusions about that! Do you have a heart for the Lord and love to talk about Him? Then I would love to talk to you! That's my philosophy. Either way, my destination is the same.

dying for the Lord is no big deal, however I'm not too enthused about all the possible pain between here and there. But considering all that the Lord went through, I really find it hard to complain about it. I just don't like to think about it I guess.

And there is that posibility that we won't suffer at all that he will protect us through it all. I can't bring myself to believe that considering what happened to the first century christians, but who am I to complain. I do know that He will give the the strength to get through and that is what counts.

I still hope and pray for a rapture.

I live by Disney.

Disney has LONG had the finger scans for SEASON PASSPORTS. The controversy is that a single, ONE DAY ticket is now requiring the finger scan.

Even the SECULAR local media is raising eyebrows because the motive for requiring even a single day visit is taking finger prints.

Things that make you go, "Hmmmm..."

Yesterday on Fox News, a former NY cop/detective was giving his full fledged approval that we should have cameras to monitor everything that goes on on all the streets, just like London does.

Then eventually on all streets throughout the US to tighten controls on "terrorists".

Shades of George Orwell's "1984"....
