Simply because to "not" believe something, We "first" have to believe it. All an atheist is doing is "proving" Genesis 5:3 is correct: And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth: Adam rebelled against God's Word, ...so do atheists. Yes..., Those that "fly into a rage" are the ones more likely to "come" to Christ than those that are apathetic and just dismiss us with, "That's how you think, friend." They "fly into a rage," ...because the Holy Spirit is convicting them, ...like Jesus said, "It's hard to kick against the goads." We find a "hook," ...since we know they once believed, ...we talk with them to find out the reason why they chose to not believe. We need to be like Paul: But let it be so, I did not burden you. But being crafty, I caught you with bait. 2 Cor 12:16 The "bait" is to have them start talking about themselves, ...once we know why they chose to "not" believe, we have the "hook" in them and we can talk with them using the Holy Spirit's wisdom to bring them to Christ, ...and then let the Holy Spirit bring them to our Father.
