Is this vision of Hell What was truly meant in the Bible? Source: http://www.watchtower.org/library/w/2002/7/15/article_01.htm With most men, unbelief in one thing springs from blind belief in another. It is important to note that the Jehovah's Witnesses (Watchtower) deny quite a few of the basics of Christian orthodoxy. Aside from the absolute rejection of Christ's divinity and deity, which is an essential of the faith, Jehovah's Witnesses reject many established orthodox theological concepts of Christianity. These include the rejection of the Biblical concept of hell. The JW's believe that they are the "one true church," and they are not shy about stating such. All Christian organizations are corrupt and fallen ,and are destined for complete destruction. Only those 144,000 of the followers of the Watchtower will remain as citizens of Christ's earthly kingdon in the millenium. There are almost too many issues to enumerate here with regard to the false teachings of the Watchtower organization. Here are a couple of websites that should help you to get started, however: http://www.carm.org/witnesses.htm http://www.bible.ca/jw.htm

I agree that there are a lot of things twisted but I also agree that they got one thing down correctly and that's the concept of hell. I thought that since many believed there is no true church today then they would at least believe that every church has "some" truth in it.......although many also have a lot of false in it also. The Jehovah's do just that. They are not Christian nor part of the Church despite the fact that they may argue otherwise. Peace, Dave

But I still do stand on the premise that their ideology of hell is correct. But then again that statement might place me into their sect..........Ah, well....such is life. If you have enlisted Jesus Christ as a simple fire insurance program, I would seroiusly doubt your actual salvation. I don't think it works that way. I didn't choose Him to escape hell, I chose Him because He who He is and I really want to be around Him...... maybe I'm wrong, but I really have a problem with people coming to the Lord just because they want to escape hell. Really.... we have the opertunity to be with the entity that created everything. To be available to us, to interface with us, to care for us, to love us and to be there for us to love and adore....... whatever more in the world (s) could a person want...... se

I was just saying that their concept of hell is correct, but like you said when all is said and done, what matters most is did you accept Jesus as you Lord and Savior?
