If you read the comment section of the local news it is just full of the thoughts of the left. How the intelligent youth will reign in power soon and will remove the old and their racist ways. It’s just insane. I think a civil war is inevitable unless something changes soon. 

 

I don´t know if what you just described is the actual left or just a degenerate subgroup of the left. I don´t live in America so I may not be able to relate. However, I always found it weird, that I am often called a facist or racist, because leftis mistake me for a white person.

America is upside down right now. I have never experienced anything like this here in my life. It is almost like common sense has been bred out of people. I have never seen such hatred. I think the devil is hard at work trying to destroy this country and I wouldn't be surprised if God lets him. We have aborted 60 million babies and it is celebrated by the left. God hates the shedding of innocent blood. Homosexuality is also celebrated like something glorious. People just want to sin here and I think we may get what we deserve. The only hope I see is if we keep a president that supports Israel since God will bless those who bless Israel.

Do you dislike homosexuality? Or do you just dislike the glorification of homosexuality?

I think glorifying any sin is wrong. Homosexuality is clearly a sin in the Bible. I used to always think people were born gay and to some extent I still do. But I also think demons heavily influence the mind of gay people until God gives them up to their reprobate mind. I think people have a choice and it is easier to go with their lusts than to walk with God. I think people can do whatever they want but it saddens me to see so many people rejecting God and choosing sin unto death. Gays have a super high suicide rate and have a very high chance of catching sexual diseases. Although now they make pills so you can have sex with anything safely I guess according to the commercials. The CDC says that gay men lifespans are approximately 20 years less than heterosexuals of the same birth year. The lifestyle is not healthy.

 

The murder of babies is also sin. The Jews used to sacrifice their babies on the molten hot plate of moloch to gain a better life for themselves. Now people sacrifice their babies to planned parenthood to gain a better life for themselves. There is nothing new under the sun.

The left in the U.S.A. is comprised of millions of people with different motivations, beliefs, levels of selfishness/altruism, and so on.  In that sense, they're very similar to the right.

It seems like they tend to believe that the government should be more involved in ensuring that people behave altruistically, basically enforcing charitable behaviour and such.  They also seem to value safety over freedom to a higher extent than the right (who tend to value freedom over safety moreso in most situations).

True, it's a spectrum.  I agree with both the right and the left about different things.  I find some things about the left to be morally reprehensible, but on other matters, I tend to agree with them more than the right, and cringe sometimes at things that people on the "right" support or say.  There are probably very few people who don't agree with both parties on at least one matter.

Answer: liberals are humanists.

Humanists are in self denial about their sin nature, believing they are generally benevolent, typically in some form of defiance or other regardless of the cause or outcome. Humans by nature tend to bite the hand that feeds them, to saw the tree branch on which they are perched, judge others for what they have absolved themselves of doing (even if those others are not actually guilty of what they are accused). They tolerate everything... that doesn't go against their personal beliefs. They abhor violence, except against those who go against their personal beliefs. They define "fair" by what they and only they want... justice by what they and only they want.  The rule of law only counts as far as they are concerned when it permits or protects what they and only they want.

All things natural are not as good as we are led to believe.  If it were, we would all just go to the bathroom whenever wherever the urge hits us. In the name of natural law humanists undo civilized behavior and mores.

Humanism is obviously atheistic and views religion as the opium of the people. But in the end, we all just cease to exist (in their view) and one man's opium is no better or worse than anyone else's (except for Christianity) . 

Humanists are easily swayed, easily convinced they are being deprived of something somehow... especially when they are not. 

Were it not for the intervention of God and the applied personal restraints of civility... there we would all be: humanists because we are human by nature.

Jesus juxtaposed humanism with Godliness throughout the Bible but the difference in wisdom / reason / idealism in texts like Matthew 16:13-23 wherein he equated the things of man with Satan. Another text is John 8:44.

We all like to think of ourselves as this neutral species that could go either way (the angels on the right shoulder and devil on the left shoulder scenario) but this is patently false according to the Bible. Human beings are satanic by nature. And while we were all in that state God in Christ saved us. We who believe.

We ask ourselves and others "why did you do this?!"

Because we are not facing the facts that we are satanic by nature and only the intervention of God throughout history has keep us from wiping ourselves out in a generation or two.

Humanity is satanic insanity.

I don't doubt it.  Now that people are less willing to openly worship demons in their guise as false gods, they're content to work more behind the scenes.  Perhaps they even prefer it this way, manipulating and influencing people who don't even believe that they exist.
