I agree, it is terrible for families to be separated.  It's also terrible that there are countries in this world that are in such poor states that their citizens would give up everything that they have risk traveling to another country.  Yet what can we do about it?  Is there a way for us to help them improve their countries?  The U.S.A. has tried that at times, and it doesn't always end well.  Should we simply accept their citizens without trying to fix the root cause (or should we do both)?  What if they bring part of the root cause with them, and make our country more like the bad aspects of theirs?  If so, is it worth it (maybe it is, maybe not)?  Can we even do anything about the root cause?  I would like to hope so.  Yet it doesn't necessarily exclude allowing them to live here, which also doesn't mean that they shouldn't be expected to follow our immigration procedures...

I think if immigration officials were actually motivated, perhaps they should crack down on those companies that hire illegals.

The most simple definition is generic ideology: per wikipedia the left is characterized by "an emphasis on ideas such as freedom, equality, fraternity, rights, progress, reform, and internationalism" while the right is characterized "by an emphasis on notions such as authority, hierarchy, order, duty, tradition, reaction, and nationalism". 

Both 'left' and 'right' have enormous spectrums of people in their umbrella so it's hard to pin down a single answer about what makes "the left" or "the right".

Mantis said the left "hate America, hate religion, hate police, and hate the rich...you're called racist if you fly an American flag, they wear puffy coats and drive subarus etc..."

This to me feels intellectually dishonest, and an exaggeration. It might represent some on the left, but I think the majority wouldn't identify with that description. 

It's the same sort of stereotypical thinking as if someone thinks everyone on "the right" is a hillbilly gun toting bible thumping racist with low IQ. I'm sure there are some people that fit that description accurately, but the reality is much more complicated and nuanced. People usually end up somewhere in the middle and it's unfair to make sweeping generalizations. 

Really I think you just need to treat each person as an individual and learn about them. Once you realize someone with a different viewpoint from you isn't as odd as you thought from a distance you start to see them for who they are. You might even learn a thing or two

For me its easy to see understand the left vs right. Yet looking at it something is missing. This is a spiritual battle. This is leading to one world order. The word of God is clear. One side seems to be a bigger player. Both sides.. Christ is not at the helm.

I like the right over the left...yet I can not be part of any of them. I don't see this getting better under Biden. What Facebook/Twitter/Youtube have been doing.. will be more unchecked then ever before.

We believers so enjoy our freedom here. For whats coming and GOD can not lie.. we will be targeted more then ever before.

It's quite easy really. I'm decent and upright with a sensible, Godly moral outlook. Anyone stricter than me is right wing, anyone looser is left wing.

And then you get weirdos that go for the political compass.

A more strict and severe definition of the Left will soon be experienced if Biden gets in and we lose the Senate. He will usher us into the Globalist/One World Government, a Utopian ideology that can't work because of sin in the world. They might have apparent good intentions like solving world hunger, creating world peace,  live in a pollution free environment, but it is all a façade, looks good on paper, but those on top always become corrupt, power hungry and greedy, leading to a totalitarian monster ... ruled by the Antichrist. That's right, that is prophesied and that is where we are headed. Thankfully it will only last 3 1/2 years and Christ will return and destroy the whole system.

This of course is a view of the extreme Left, which not many of the Democrats believe will happen. They've been duped, lied to. Most of them think we will just get back to the Clinton years or the Obama years. They don't think this NWO is evil, they think it is good. As Isaiah 5:20 says, we are living in an upside down world, when people believe good is evil and darkness is light. Woe to them says the Lord. This progressive view of the future is unrealistic. It can't work, it's been tried and has failed! But God sends them a strong delusion so that they believe the lies. I think they've watched to many sci-fi movies. They should really talk to some Russians who grew up under the Soviet Union regime or Cubans. They will warn them of the lies they were told, the poverty and freedoms they did not have. Talk to the Venezuelans, they wait in long lines for food. Russians worked all day long then got in a line, not knowing what the line was for, but knew they needed it, toilet paper or coffee, food, everyday things we take for granted. Our grocery stores have abundance now. When communism fell and they saw what the West had, they cried. They walked into grocery stores, department stores, saw how we lived and enjoyed life and just cried. They were lied to. Well, we are being lied to now and at least a 1/3 of the country is falling for. Of course as Bernie says, they do not have in mind socialism like the former USSR or even Venezuela. They are speaking of Denmark, Sweden, Norway, etc. I guess the elites, like Gates and Soros think of a new and improved socialism, a bright one, not dark. How bright is killing off 2/3 of the population, downsizing the world to a more workable population, say 500 million. Is being progressive require deadly viruses and vaccines that include also genetic manipulation, which will kill more people or sterilize them, rendering them  unable to procreate? It's interesting how this virus kills five times as many Blacks and seven times as many Hispanics as if it was altered in some way to do so? I don't know, that is speculation. But what if they target certain races, like those who are impoverished in Africa and give them the vaccines that just kill or at least sterilize them? How bright a future do they have? Is that being progressive? Imagine finding out that most of the elderly in your town are dead and that most of the young  cannot have kids? Don't worry, it won't progress too far before Christ intervenes.
