How can one be saved if they do not believe? How can one believe if they do not know Jesus Christ? How can one claim to really know Jesus Christ if they deny his true character? How can one truly believe if they refuse to accept Jesus Christ for who HE claimed to be? He made it clear...He is "I AM".

John 8:24 "I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins."

He is most definately Jehovah in the old testament. The relationship of the Trinity (Father - Son - Holy Spirit) is way more difficult to describe. My thoughts differ from some here, but it is very important to understand that he was not/is not/won't ever be just a mortal man.

Several threads have debated the Trinity and you might do a search and read through those for they have some very good information on all sides of the subject.
