This is going to be short and sweet.    Don't take my word for it, go look this up yourself.

Netflix decided to post a movie made in France, that is basically soft-core porn with 11-year-old girls.

It is absolutely disgusting.  Purely and entirely disgusting at many levels.  It involves underage girls dressing in street-walker outfits, doing sexualized dance moves like twerking (not going to explain that, you can look it up on your own), and being ridiculous.

This apparently was *not* considered controversial in France, which tells you how very very far France has fallen morally.

The bottom line is, Netflix has decided that this Pro-pedophilia film is perfectly fine, and has even been so bold as to tell critics "Go watch the film."

Now I have to tell you, that I am generally against boycotts and complaining about what the pagans do, because it is foolish to expect people who don't know or believe in Christianity, to follow Christian belief.

But this is too far.  This is not just pagans having pagan views, this direct support of pedophilia.... and then DEFENDING the pedophilia.    There is no other way to view this.   They are directly defending and supporting the hyper sexualizing of underage girls.

This isn't even sweet 16, where in history past, 16 year olds were expected to grow up, and move towards finding a husband.

We're talking about 11 to 14 year olds, dressed like they are working in a strip club.  Skin tight, highly revealing, extremely sexual.

Bottom line is.... My advice to all of you, if any of this matters to you, you should cancel your Netflix account.   No christian should be directly or indirectly supporting this, by giving your G-d given money to a company that supports pedophilia.

So I'll say it bluntly.   Cancel your Netflix.   If we allow support of Pedophilia to go without opposition, then we are not the salt of the Earth anymore.  We are accomplices in evil.

So I looked it up and it certainly sounds provocative. After reading some of the director's own comments, I don't think this is pro-pedophilia. That just sounds like typical reactionism to something those complaining probably have not even watched but just been told to be upset about it. Would I watch this? Unlikely. But all this hubbub will certainly drive a lot of people to watch it. Exactly why overreacting tends to backfire.

I saw this last night and I was upset about it as well. I watched the preview/trailer for this movie and was highly disturbed.

We wonder why we need movements like #saveourchildren but then we allow them to sexualized and portrayed like this.

The movie is even rated as MA - mature audiences only ...... yet 11-14 years olds play the roles in the movies and do the things that make this movie rated MA.

My heart breaks. Honestly. That's all I can say. God help us.

Haven't seen the trailer or the movie and I do not wish to, either. Then again, I cancelled my Netflix subscription years ago because I realized that it was taking too much time away from other things. Like spending time in the scriptures.

"Soft Porn" can be seen on some of the "cable" channels on TV these days. Found that out while cooling my heels in the GM dealer's waiting room for some dealer only repair work on my car. It was on the TV there and for a moment I thought someone had put on an adult channel, but it was just one of the channels from the local cable folks. I haven't had a TV in a long time, and I think that's a good thing because things seem to have deteriorated quite a bit from when I watched a lot of TV.

I was gone from Netflix along time ago.

On another note, why would Netflix believe this is inappropriate when they witness scandal after scandal going on  in the church? I mean, look at the  passionate  Christian support for a highly immoral president; thousands of predators abusing kids in the Catholic Church, among other things. It’s  hard for Christians with a platform to speak out against this stuff nowadays.

But I guess we can warn one another on smaller scales such as this forum or in individual churches.

I’m embarrassed to say this, but I snapped last year when I saw my thirteen year old daughter leaving out with a “trendy” outfit on. I didn’t even say anything(was too shocked), I just wrestled  it off of her and left out of her room. She laughed later and said she didn’t know I was that strong. Glad she wasn’t  traumatized by it. I asked the Lord for forgiveness for losing my temper. Parents need to step up though. Where are these girls parents who are featured in the Netflix series?

Trump has been generally supportive of Christian beliefs in office.   The alternatives we have to vote for, also support men in women's bathrooms, and murdering babies.

That's like suggesting that if Trump was running against Hitler in Germany, that the Jews should supported Hitler because someone thinks Trump is immoral.

Should we openly support people who directly want to fund with our tax money, murdering babies?   And that is better than Trump how?

If you can show evidence that Trump or anyone else, supports pedophilia like Cuties on Netflix, I will of course vote against them.

Beyond that, no I don't agree that it is hard for Christians with a platform to speak out.  We choose not to, because we're more like King Saw, than King David, where we are worried what the people think.

1 Samuel 15:24 "I have disobeyed your instructions and the LORD’s command, for I was afraid of the people and did what they demanded."

I don't care what the people think of me.   I don't care what Trump did, or what some Catholic did, or what whoever where ever did.

This is evil, and I'm going to oppose it, and so should you.

Where are these girls parents who are featured in the Netflix series?

They support it.  When you see what pagans do, you need to look at it from their perspective.  What's wrong with 11-year-olds twerking?   They are getting paid tons of money, and morals are relative.  "to them"... there is nothing wrong with that.

The Democrats, and the left-wingers, have convinced an entire generation of pagans, that morals are relative.

And by the way, canceling netflix is not going to stop that.  That isn't even a goal.  My point to Christians is, don't let your money that G-d has given you, fund what is pure unambiguous evil.

But we're not going to stop their belief system.

I’m embarrassed to say this

I'm confused by that statement.   Now I don't know what "trendy" means, because I'm old, and I hate trendy stuff.  Never been a time in my life, when I cared about what was trendy with god-hating pagans.   And that's not an insult, that is just a bunch of people following the ways of the world... all trying to one-up each other, over the latest trendy fad, that costs hundreds of dollars, and end up throw away before they get out of high school, or college.

I'm assuming this "trendy" crap was beyond what was morally right.

Why should you be embarrassed by enforcing a standard?   You likely taught your daughter one of the most valuable lessons of her life, that very well possibly saved her years, even decades of pain and sorrow, by attracted the wrong type of men, and then wondering why her life sucks.

I've seen girls that walk around wearing as little as possible, and I hear their voices saying "There are no good guys", and never connecting their actions on what they are wearing, with the result of the type of men they are attracting.

And the whole reason is because no lovely, G-d fearing, moral standard holding, wonderful woman, ever had the courage to walk in their room, and tear that trendy garbage clothing off of them, and lay down the rule... not in my house.  When you get your own place, and make your own choices, and that is on you, but in my house, we have standards.

Why should you be embarrassed by that?  I wish every single woman on this forum had that story to tell.  And father for that matter.

We can't stop the pagans.  The Bible even says, that by the end times, everyone will be lovers of themselves, and care not for others, and this is a perfect example.

We can't change the culture.  But we can change where our own money goes to.

Encourage anyone with a netflix account to cancel it.  We can't control others, but we can control ourselves.

Honestly I love some of the foreign films for that reason.  Lots of the sub-titled movies are far better than the shallow garbage we tend to have.

So why is this different?   Because there is a huge difference between having murder in a movie, and glorifying the murder.

You realize there is murder all throughout the entire Bible.   But the Bible still says murder is wrong.   Right?

Moses murdered and Egyptian.  He was still the hero, but not because he murdered, but in spite of the fact he murdered.  The apostle Paul was a murderer, and he was the one who wrote most of the new testament.

There is a difference in portraying life as being messy, and opposing what is bad, in favor of what is good.... and glorifying what is evil.

You realize that if the Bible was a movie, it would have all kinds of horrible things in it.   Because that is the Human reality, that we live in a messy world, and we as Christians strive for what is best, while opposing what is terrible.

Just the story of King David alone, would be a lewd and violent film, if it was made accurate to what is in the Bible.   But in that story, even when the hero of the story fails, in adultery or murder.... the end story is always to promote the good, and David faced the consequences of what was evil.

Netflix, with the movie Cuties.... is the exact opposite.  They are glorifying what is unambiguous evil.  It's a movie about sex trafficking, that girls are trying to escape from.  It's about glorifying girls intentionally gratifying the sexual deviancy of disgusting men, for money and fame.

Do you see the difference?   This isn't James Bond wiping out super villains not because he likes to kill people, but because needs to oppose mass murderers.  This is just plain and simple evil, but turning 11-year-olds into sex toys.

Not the same in my book.  By wide wide margin.

Also there is a problem with parental control to some extent.  It's lot easier for children to watch adult rated stuff on Netflix, than to get into a movie theater.  At least the cashier isn't likely to allow 10 to 14 year olds into an R or NC-17 rated movie.

People tend to have netflix on their TV, and let their kids use it freely.  (Which I oppose, but that is a reality).

Well speaking for myself specifically, I was concerned that the articles I read could be exaggerated, so I made a point to look up some pictures, and the trailer online.

And to be honest, it is exactly as the criticism claim it is.   It is horrific in my view.  If I were to have a daughter, I would not let her dress the way these kids are dressed in this movie, at the age of 20, let alone 12.   Honestly, unless a wife is putting on a private showing for her husband... I can't think of any situation where the way these girls dressed, or danced, was appropriate anywhere.

And certainly not at the ages of 11 to 14.

Now as far as 'driving lot of people to watch it"... the pagans are going to watch crap like this whether we support it, or opposite, or ignore it.   Pagans are pagans.  They are already watching porn that is hundred times more filthy than this, and millions are watching pedophile porn more filthy than this.

My point here is that Christians.... not the pagans.  Ignore the pagans.... Christian have no business supporting this disgusting crap.  So I stand by my original post, and suggest all Christians everywhere should cancel their subscription to Netflix, if they have one.
