 JUDGEMENT   IGNORED  ??

2 CORINTHIANS 4:1  therefore seeing we have this ministry as we have received mercy we faint not

--4:2-- but have renounced the hidden things of  --DISHONESTY-- not walking in craftiness nor handling the --WORD  OF  GOD  DECEITFLLY-- but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every mans conscience in the sight of  GOD

PSALM 149:5  let the saints be joyful in glory let them sing aloud upon their beds --149:6-- let the high praises of  GOD  be in their mouth and a two edged sword in their hand  --149:7-- to execute vengeance upon the heathen and punishments upon the people --149:8-- to bind their kings with chains and their nobles with fetters of iron

--149:9--  TO EXECUTE  UPON  THEM  THE  JUDGEMENT  WRITTEN  THIS  HONOR  HAVE  ALL  HIS  SAINTS  ---PRAISE  YOU  THE  LORD---

1 CORINTHIANS 5:11 but now I have written unto you not to keep company if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator or covetous or an idolater or a railer or a drunkard or an extortioner --WITH  SUCH  AN  ONE  DO  NOT  EAT--

--5:12-- for what have I to do to judge them also that are without do not you --JUDGE  THEM  THAT  ARE  WITHIN---  5:13-- but them that are without  --GOD  JUDGETH-- THEREFORE  PUT  AWAY  FROM  AMONG  YOURSELVES  THAT  WICKED  PERSON

1 CORINTHIANS 6:1  dare any of you having a matter against another go to law before the unjust and not before the saints  --6:2-- do you not know that ---THE  SAINTS  SHALL  JUDGE  THE  WORLD---and if the world shall be  judged by you are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters  --6:3--  know you not that we shall judge angels how much more things that pertain to this life  --6:4-- if then you have judgements of things pertaining to this life set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church

--6:5-- I  SPEAK  TO  YOUR  SHAME -- is it so that there is not a wise man among you no not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren

Our Bibles are roughly one third prophetic. If one third of it is prophetic, perhaps we all, including Pastor's and teachers should spend a little more time with it?

I constantly hear about churches avoiding and discussing yet future biblical prophecy; it's certainly true at my Baptist Church with the last few pastors since I've attended. Keep in mind I'm not criticizing, because it is a Bible believing Gospel preaching church with the same core tenants I believe, and who am I to criticize?

But I feel since so much is given us in the Bible to watch for; see how close we are approaching the tribulation period; and the world events we all see aligning for prophetic fulfillment. I believe a congregation needs to be a watchman as we see the day approaching.

I thought about asking our Pastor why he stays away from prophetic events and prophecy that may be fulfilled in our lifetime. But I don't want to make any waves and he's the shepherd of our church. But I would suspect it has to do with one of two things: (1) They [and he] are not up to date on prophecy and how it is all related to the world alignments and events we see taking place right now, or. (2) There's more hermeneutics and opinions on prophecy and what's going on than I get chicken eggs.

Want to start an argument? Let me tell you how I interpret the books of Daniel and Revelation. Case closed...

My hunch is he doesn't want to over stretch present circumstances in order to fit a mold that might not fit, so he chooses to stay on prophecy lite. It might also cause more problems than solutions if others in the congregation see some things a little differently. Since prophecy is a divisive subject and since in many cases we really don't know some of it with absolute certainty, it's probably wise not to get too far into it. Not only this, but these kinds of discussions from behind a pulpit can tend to seem dark and make people feel fearful instead of hopeful. Now more than ever I think we need to hear reasons to hope and rest assured. Not find causes to add more fear to already fearful folk.  While end time prophecy is full of eventual hope for all Christians, the interim subjects are dark, foreboding and tend to incite fear IMO. Maybe a subject for a bible study instead?

From being in some Baptist churches I can say that for me at least, the worst thing I have heard is when people are told they will escape everything. I think we need to be prepared to the possibility Christians in the US could suffer before we are saved. To tell them it's all going to be ok seem irresponsible to me.

Here’s one a lot of people avoid I think because they don’t understand it or they just don’t want to hear it.
John 1 13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

That is why I am now 70 and heading toward 71 this December, God willing. :amen:

Yes your two years older than me. Have you seen a lot of your friends die? I have a good friend now that is in the hospital with double pneumonia. I have learned how to pray for people from a distance but it is easier when we are in agreement and in the same room.

I think I will live to see the the end of the Church age in 2029. I do not have any plans to live any longer than that. But I never planned to live as long as I have. We need to follow God and follow His plan and purpose for us and our life.

Yes! The things we physically see are temporary and people have no idea there is another world that we see spiritually. I have tried and tried to explain this but they think I’m crazy. LoL. The salvation of God cannot be explained. Only experienced. Words cannot describe what it is is to be born again, regenerate, renewed by the Holy Spirit! To know that God knows you personally by name and has revealed Himself to you truly is indescribable. Thank you Jesus for having mercy on a wretch like me. Undeserving miserable vile sinner. That love is impossible to explain.

Two favorite hymns. Amazing Grace and Only Jesus Can Satisfy My Soul. Not sure if that’s the actual name but Amen.

Sorry I went off topic.

Yeah I agree. Perhaps talking about the inevitable doom and gloom approaching may make people more uncomfortable and drive them away to get their ears tickled?

We all see what's happening to our nation, and now they are in overdrive not to let a good crisis go to waste. Elites and globalists are now talking about how bad the "great reset" is needed. As an American, looking around at how fast things are deteriorating and going down the toilet; things will never get better for any length of time. We're in deep trouble in every aspect possible.

As a Christian; I'm excited because each day that passes, is one day closer for our Lord's return. I regret to say, if America thinks times are getting hard now; I don't think we have seen anything yet.

Ok here we go. I personally think the church age is already over. It is for me anyway. I never hear the truth and feel like nobody cares.

No one ever told me how old the requirement was. They still let me come. How old are you? :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
