What Kind of News MOST Interests You?

I would like to know what kind of news stories interest you the most? What topics do you like to keep up with? Feel free to give examples. Too bad they don't let us choose more than one!

Also, what topics are the least interested in? Feel free to vote in the poll and keep your vote anonymous, too. Thanks to everyone who responds.

OK - my list of primary interests are (in no particular order):

News about Israel

Weather (earthquakes, heat waves, natural disasters, etc.,)

Christianity Worldwide (Victories and Persecutions)

Science & Technology (RFID, NASA, New Inventions, etc.)

As a secondary, I would put the "Interesting local news."

As a least:

Entertainment - definantly! *looking for "thumbs down" emoticon*

I also like the news about missing persons and the updates. Liek the Natalee Holloway case. I have been following that since it started. I also like watching ESPN to get updated on sports news.

Thank you both for responding. It IS a shame you can only vote for one, which is why I'm hoping people will respond with the choices they like and don't like.

It's really very funny, because I'm NOT a newshound, yet I post a lot of news articles. The things I'm looking for in an article that I post here are things that seem to be relevant to prophecy and the end times. I'm hesitant to say that because I'm not off-balance in my interest in this area. It's so common for anyone who has an interest in this area to be considered a fanatic or something.

I just come across so many different types of articles from so many different news sources, that I wanted to know what other people wanted to read more about. What prompted this is that I'm a weather buff and weather stories fascinate me! But I started wondering if I'm posting too many articles about this stuff???

I voted Israel, it seems that most of the other votes are included in this such as terrorist etc... as will as shows us just how close we are to the times prophecied years ago.

But I like to read all of the topics mentioned.

I thought about that, but I was hoping to get a feel for more specific topics that people are interested in. I know that with most people, several topics, if not all of them, would be of interest. I'm hoping people will use this response area to note things like "All of the Above" or "Everything but..." or "It's not on the list, but I like..."

I know this will come a complete shock to everyone... News about Israel was my choice in this poll. I know, I know... you could not possibly have seen that coming.

But I am also interested in what else is going on in the world as well. I could not care less about movie star news/gossip stuff. I peruse various news groups, and am interested in what is genuine news. Like Neb, I am also interested in Christian news and how Christians are coping other parts of the world.
