(Isaiah 34:4 KJV) And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling [fig] from the fig tree.

(Isaiah 34:8 KJV) For [it is] the day of the LORD'S vengeance, [and] the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.

What is in view here is the day of the Lord as can be seen in these cross reference verses below:

(Isaiah 13:6, 10 KJV) 6 Howl ye; for the day of the LORD [is] at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty. ... 10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

(Isaiah 34:15 KJV) 15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.

The gathering of vultures in Isaiah 34:15 above can only be seen as being associated with the day of the Lord.

(Matthew 24:3 KJV) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what [shall be] the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The disciples wanted to know how to identify the coming of Christ Jesus. The coming of Christ is the subject here.

What is in question is the teaching that Matthew 24 concerns the rapture of the church, the body of Christ.

(Matthew 24:14 KJV) And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Jesus and the twelve preached the gospel of the kingdom, the kingdom on earth in which Christ will reign with the remnant of Israel over the nations.

(Matthew 24:21 KJV) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

It is Israel that will endure the tribulation (Daniel 12:1 Jeremiah 30:7).

(Matthew 24:27 KJV) For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is plainly said to be in view.

(Matthew 24:28 KJV) For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

I see the eagles of Matthew 24:28 as being related to the vultures in Isaiah 34:15; both are associated with the coming of Christ and the day of the Lord.

Luke below also says the eagles will be gathered together at this time:

(Luke 17:37 KJV) And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body [is], thither will the eagles be gathered together.

(Matthew 24:29 KJV) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

The stars fall just as in Isaiah 34:4.

Revelation, just as Isaiah 34:4, describes the stars falling and the heaven departing as a scroll at the opening of the sixth seal:

(Revelation 6:13-14 KJV) 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

(Matthew 24:31 KJV) And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Israel is the elect gathered in Matthew 24:31 above. Consider Isaiah 11:12 below:

(Isaiah 11:12 KJV) And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

(Matthew 24:40-41 KJV) 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two [women shall be] grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Here is the main verses in consideration.

These verses do not relay the "rapture" of the body of Christ.

Christ here is saying Israel will be separated at his coming. Unbelieving Israel will be separated from the remnant and will not enter the kingdom on earth:

(Matthew 13:29-30 KJV) 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

(Matthew 13:40 KJV) 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

"The marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready...

I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the sky,
Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God.
" Revelation 19:7,17.

The army of the Lord will be on horses as prophesied: Joel 2:4,10-11, Revelation 19:14.

"Israel's dead men shall rise, together with my dead body shall they arise" Isaiah 26:19

"From the four winds, an exceedingly great army" [of resurrected people] Ezekiel 37:9-10

Revelation chapter 19 describes the same event.

Paul gives details to the same event. Those of Israel will rise first, those dead in Christ will rise first,
[David and Isaiah are in Christ, as evident by their words; Psalm 16:10 Isaiah 53-56]
[Likewise all who followed the Father are in Christ, for Christ is the manifestation of the Father; 1 Tim 3:16]
then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

"Behold the Lord comes with 10,000's of His saints to do doom upon all flesh." Jude 1:14-15

The marriage supper of the Lamb; Wheresoever the bodies are there will the birds be gathered together.

For "... the rest were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded from His mouth,
and all the birds were filled with their flesh
" Revelation 19:21

There is no 'rapture' there is one marriage supper of the Lamb, specifically described in Revelation chapter 19,
and prophesied by Isaiah 26:19, Jeremiah 30:9, Ezekiel 37, Matthew 24:28-31, Matthew 25:1-12, 2 Thessalonians 4:16-17.

They are all speaking about the same event; great resurrections that happen at the beginning of the 1000 year reign of the Messiah.

As Jeremiah 30:9 says, David will be raised up, resurrected, thereby together with Ezekiel 37:1-14,
we know that Ezekiel 37:24 is clearly talking about a literal resurrected David.

The great final return of the captives happens when the Messiah returns, it is a day of resurrection,
many will be resurrected and glorified, literally raised up with Christ in the clouds to be part of His army,
and to reign with Him from Jerusalem for 1000 years.

The kingdoms of the world will be gathered together to fight against Christ and His army: Revelation 19.
Everyone who is not caught up to be part of Christs army, will be, left, for the birds.   [Luke 17:34-37]

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
