I would like to impress something that has been on my heart for the body of Christ. I really hope you'll honor me with a few minutes of your time to read this.

In the first letter that Paul wrote to the Corinthian church, he talks to them about controversial, and often divisive issues. The main issue that Paul focused on is the need for unity within the church and the body of Christ.

There are a lot of similarities between the Corinthian church and churches today. Our problem is the same as their problem. It

Keith, a big amen. More love, more power, more of Him in our lives. Less schism and contention... more love and affection.

1Jo 3:16 By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

Thank you Kahlan and Trust for taking the time to read this. I know long posts aren't always fun to sit through.

It's hard to write about being loving towards each other because, I think, people tend to think about it as the sugary, sweet, doormat-type love where people expect us to take abuse with a smile and say thank you for it. That's not what it means at all. And my intention is not to try to write some flowery, pretty post. I'm being obedient in posting what's been placed in my heart for all of us.

Ephesians 2:11-13 reminds us that we once had no hope and were without God, too. And that it wasn't on our own that we came to Him, so none of us can boast in that.

Verses 14-17 is our call to peace. Peace means "to be united with" as well as "to bring an end to hostility." Jesus is our Peace. Jesus made us one.

Verse 19 tells us that we are no longer strangers or foreigners, but "citizens with the saints and members of the household of God." Household means members of a family. Families need unity!

Verses 20-21 says that Jesus Himself is the chief cornerstone of our foundation "in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit."

We all have to live in the same "house" together. If we don't dwell there in love, the house is going to be filled with dysfunction and won't have peace. We need to understand this! Not just here at Worthy, but in our three-dimensional lives, too!

John 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another."

1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love."

These aren't suggestions. If we know this is what pleases God, how can we not strive more to fulfill these words? Sometimes we need to be taken back to the basics to remind ourselves of where we came from and who we are in Christ. We have the power and resources available in us already to accomplish this. I'm doing a study on who we are in Jesus in the Study Forum if anyone is interested. No, I'm not promoting my study and I'm not promoting me. This word is meant as much for me as it is for everyone. I'm being obedient in posting it. God is crying out for us to walk in love with each other and become one body, unified, as He intended! This is how He wants to come back and find His bride.

Thank you, Eadora. I appreciate you taking the time to read my post and respond.

I didn't expect to see a lot of responses to a post like this because it's not a message people like to hear. People don't like to be confronted with sin. Sin certainly isn't being preached in the pulpit anymore, that's for sure. Not in too many places anyway.

Far too many people have become apathetic. Apathy, whether people realize it or not, is one of the biggest signs that Jesus is returning very soon. The world is totally soaked in apathy.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
