Holy Spirit downpour confirms believers AS THE BODY OF CHRIST

Matt 16:13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
14 They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
15 “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?”
16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

Peter obviously have been inspired by Almighty God Elohim in heaven but he has not received the Holy Spirit yet, because Jesus told them to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit baptism.

Acts 1:4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: "Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.
5 For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

If we have acknowledged that Jesus is the Son of God and have been baptized with water, it doesnt necessarily means we have already received the Holy Spirit.

Example : Paul confers the gift of the Holy Spirit to the BELIEVERS of Christ after they have received water baptism.
Acts 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
5 On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and THEY SPOKE IN TONGUES and prophesied.

Peter and John placed their hands to BELIEVERS WHO HAVE BEEN BAPTIZED so they may rcvd the Holy Spirit.
Acts 8:16 For the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
17 Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit. 

Cornelius received Holy Spirit first then be baptized. Its two separate events.

Ananias placed his hand on Paul that he might be filled with Holy Spirit and then be baptized.

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT BAPTIZE THEM THEY SPOKE IN TONGUE
Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

BUT WHY DID GOD CHOOSE TO CONTROL THE TONGUE ?

James 3:3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

HOW COULD WE SURVIVE OUR FAITH WITHOUT THE COMFORTER/ HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM ?
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

YOU WILL SURELY FEEL THE FIRE OF HOLY SPIRIT INSIDE YOUR BODY WHEN YOU RCV HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM FROM LORD JESUS HIMSELF.

Matt 3:11.....He Will baptize you with Holy Spirit and Fire.

As fulfillment of the above prophecy by John the Baptist, Jesus sent to the early church the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Day to confirm the church AS THE BODY OF CHRIST. Its God who claimed and sealed the first church. We cannot claim we have Holy  Spirit unless Holy Spirit claimed us first INTO the body of Christ. 

Its the Holy Spirit downpour that CHANGED, INSPIRED and EMPOWERED the early church to continue Jesus Job on earth.

1 Cor 12:13 For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one Body.

Paul speaks about Holy Spirit baptism of Pentecost style where the church/ believers are claimed as the body of Christ. 

John 3:5 No one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and Spirit.

Water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism is Biblical. Unless people choose to become Theologians instead of following early disciples.

The gift of Tongues is divided in two :

1. GLOSOLALIA, this will accompany the baptism of Holy Spirit, people will feel their tongue move by itself when they are slain in the spirit and cry at the feet of Jesus as the FIRE OF HOLY SPIRIT enter their body.

IF YOU UTTER GLOSOLALIA SOME PEOPLE WHO LISTEN WILL THINK YOU ARE CRAZY

1 Cor 14: 23 If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that ye are mad?

BECAUSE GLOSOLALIA IS BETWEEN YOU AND GOD TO STRENGTHEN FAITH.

1 Cor 14:4 He that speaketh in an unknown tongue (glosolalia) edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth (xenolalia) edifieth the church.

WE UTTER GLOSOLALIA WHEN OUR GROANINGS CANNOT BE UTTERED THAT IT HURT DEEPLY, WE THEN LET HOLY SPIRIT TAKE OVER AND PRAY FOR US IN THE BAD SITUATION.

Rome 8:26 .... for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

2. XENOLALIA, Holy Spirit move our tongue to speak His message directly to people with the words not from our mind, this could be a foreign language, this is a gift of PROPHECY and not every believer who speaks in Glosolalia is bestowed with this gift.

1 Cor 14: 29 Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge.

XENOLALIA must be judged by others and those with the gift of xenolalia and the gift of vision will rebuke others if that is of manmade words.

IN THE CHURCH WHERE HOLY SPIRIT GIFTs MANIFEST THERE ARE 9 GIFTS AND THE GIFT OF TONGUE IS ONE OF THEM.

1 Cor 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

1. Wisdom 2.Knowledge 3. Faith 4.Healing 5.miracle, 6.prohecy (XENOLALIA), 7.Discerning spirit, 8. divers kinds of tongues (glosolalia) 9. interpretation of tongues.

The gift of Wisdom, knowledge and discerning spirit can come in the form of VISION.

So if unbelievers came into our congregation he will be revealed to the whole people with the gifts of vision and xenolalia.

1 Cor 14:24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all:

25 And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.

PEOPLE WITH BAD INTENTION OR BLACK MAGIC WILL BE PUT TO SHAME IF THEY COME INTO CONGREGATION WITH HOLY SPIRIT GIFTS, THEIR SINS IS REVEALED SO THEY MAY KNOW THAT GOD LOVES THEM.

THE PEOPLE WITH THE GIFT OF PROPHECY CAN CONTROL WHEN TO UTTER AND WHEN TO STOP XENOLALIA.

The spirits of prophets are subject to the control of prophets.
1 Cor 14:31 For you can all prophesy in turn so that everyone may be instructed and encouraged. 32 The spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. 33For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace. As in all the congregations of the saints

The day is almost dark now, while the chance is still given

John 9:4 I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Acts 2:17 'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 

John 3:5 ....No one can enter the kingdom of heaven unless he is born of water and Spirit....

Holy Spirit baptism is the seal of redemption Ephesians 4:30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
 

Its similar to the contract of engagement as Paul said we hv been betrothed to Christ :

2 Cor 11:2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Holy Spirit is knocking at the door bringing the contract of betrothal, God wants to pour out Holy Spirit on all people but many people say "Holy Spirit baptism ? No thanks we have Jesus here".

It made me question something. Specifically if the Apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit when Jesus sent them out the first time. I had always assumed that they had, but when I went back and read it just now I saw I had been under a misapprehension

Matthew 10:10 Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.

He gave them the Authority over demons and disease, they had not yet received the Holy Spirit

And then reinforced that which should have been OBVIOUS to me, that He had them wait in the upper room for the Holy Spirit

So thank you for the correction

Holy Spirit baptism is from Lord Jesus Himself, people pray n fasting for months its not easy to rcv it, some in our gathering prayed for years to rcv it, its easy come easy go if we dont struggle God knows we wont appreciate this gift if given easily.

God is still building n communicating with our church  thru Xenolalia n visions, he mostly rebukes n rebuild each of us regularly of our way of living, he knows if some of us no longer read Bible n plunged into worldly seduction. Otherwise we only pray n learn Theology without two ways oral communication. Yes i meant it that Xenolalia is an oral communication by Holy Spirit to rebuke n rebuild us.

In difficult situation facing danger of unkind people we pray with glosolalia without voice n let Holy Spirit move our tongue n  take control, whatever may happen at that time it will be by God's will that we may suffer the test.

What is the basic meaning of Holy Spirit downpour on Pentecost Day 2000 years ago ? It means a new era of empowerment for daily Shabbath rest. As God has replaced the Law with these two - Love God and love others as you love yourself 

The ancient desert Hebrew have not been given this but they are given the LAW which is the shadow of things to come. So i hope those Sabbath Lovers will understand this, because Holy Spirit brings 9 Gifts to build the church (not given in the desert era). Don't dig the old grave of the Law for no good.
