And you do this 100% of the time?  If you are inclined to say yes, please show me in scripture where others have been as successful.I am in Christ 100 percent of the time and Therefore, I am redeemed from the law which is why it says in 1 Timothy 1:9, that the law is not made for a righteous man. And so I am totally 100 percent righteous due to the fact that my spirit is His workmanship. And this is also why it is written in 2 Corinthians 5:21, that we might be made the righteousness of God in him and this I am 100 percent of the time. You want examples from the Scriptures? How about everyone who was walking in Christ?

Edited to add - besides Jesus.

I walk in the spirit 100 percent of the time and therefore, I am redeemed from the law which is why it says in 1 Timothy 1:9, that the law is not made for a righteous man. Interesting you chose this verse.  It does read:

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

It is a great verse, but consider what it does say.  "might become".  The word might alone proves that being totally righteous is not a given, but a goal to reach for, one that takes a lifetime to accomplish.

There are many other verses that say we are the righteous of God and probably the first 3 chapters of Ephesians will tell us that.

I think the qualifying word here is "MIGHT", in that being perfect and sinless is not a guarantee or a given.

Judging others by my life and actions, and 1st peter 4:18, "If it is with difficulty that the righteous is saved..."

The word difficulty in this context is a word actually meaning impossible on ones own.

There is no perfection or righteousness without being gifted by God Himself, and God through Paul says we must struggle and endure, and fight the good fight, and pick up our cross daily, and run the race of endurance from our hearts.

All of the above isn't about works in your context of your idea of works, but works with a heart for God is accepted by God, because we're not trying to EARN something we cant earn, it's a natural response to our love for Him and for others, if others are involved.

If your a legalist or rule keeper, or anyone else here is, this concept wouldn't be understood.

You seem to make it sound very "easy peasy" when it's a constant battle with the "DEVIL" of this earth.

I sometimes battle satan everyday for the constant temptations he brings to trip me up or entangle me.

Actually I'm glad I have these problems with sin because God describes my condition of sin, but He doesn't describe yours.

There are many verses that talk about the righteousness of God. Probably the first 3 chapters of Ephesians.

You should pay much less attention to the teachings of men and learn from scripture itself through the Holy Spirit:

1John 1:5  This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6  If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
1:7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:8  If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10  If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

so does Andrew Farley know something that John the Apostle does not?

I did that. It's not my fault Farley sees what I see and can teach it well.

Until we learn to resist the temptation to sin, we must suffer the consequences of our sin. Discussing whether or not we are predisposed to committing sin seems a waste of time to me.

Okay. You believe you still have a sin nature.

Verse 8 if We say we have no sin We device ourselves

Verse 9 if We confess our sin.

Verse 10 if We say we have no sin, We make him to be a liar.

Taken from the AV.

John is using inclusive language that say he , those he is writing to and anyone who reads his letter is a sinner, saved by grace, but still a sinner.

To say that in chapter 1 he switchs from talking to Christians to talking to non Christians is to tear scripture apart.

Romans is the same. Roman 10:9-10 is talking to Christians. Guys like the Apostle Paul was preaching to saints and non-saints in many of the epistles.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
