I, for one, tend to disagree with you on most points regarding the world stage and therefore I think your sources are not credible. So therefore credibility seems to be relative as is the truth

Neither truth nor credibilty are relative. You are just wrong and refuse to admit it.

That's the truth and you have little credibility when it comes to this subject. You will post some obscure commentary as if it's true...and reject hard facts when they are presented.

You are quick to say that America must be wrong because few nations are "with" us yet you ignore the fact that no one is "with" you.

There is wisdom in a multitude of counselors. Why don't you receive it?

good points Shiloh, I forgot about those human shields. I wonder if any of them stayed for the war? Nobody likes to see death but when innocent people are killed

truth & justice thru the Lord will prevail. Good defeats evil. The lines are being drawn in the sand. Submitting to his will because his ways are true & mans have failed.

Please don't assume that oneaccord is the only one who feels the way she does. Some just think it is pointless to comment on this subject for various reasons. I personally don't know if we should be in Iraq or not, but we are there and that is that. Will good come out of it? Absolutely. Are we there for the reasons given us, doubtful. I am not sure anyone knows, it is not always black and white, seldom is.

This much I know, time is running out and the Lord will come back for us.

Whether we should be in Iraq is wide open for debate. I've got no problem with anyone who has an intellectual disagreement with our foreign policy and/or how it should be implemented.

BUT....

Whether we should fight a war against terrorism and terrorists using every means possible is not debatable since 911. We are in a war whether we realize it or not. There is plenty about the prosecution of this war that can and should be examined to make certain that we are not percieved as occupiers more than liberators. However, mistakes will be made and we need to account for them.

But to say that we are ONLY doing this for oil or big business or a giant land grab insults the memory of those who died on 911. We didn't start this until we had no other choice. Now we MUST finish it or become like Israel...fearing the next bus bombing every day.

Pacifism ties our hands and blindfolds us to the wiles of our enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. We would have a blissful sleep only until they become our rulers. :sleep:
