Yep, my suspicions were overturned by the evidence you finally supplied.

I'm just asking you to supply evidence to substantiate your claims. I'm not asking for anything unreasonable.

It is fine with me if you decide to drop the topic without providing any evidence for the claim that Dr. Fauci should be fired and should probably go to prison. However, it would be better if claims were not made in the first place if you are either unwilling or unable to substantiate them.

Its very difficult to know much of anything for certain these days with a pandemic of bad news on both sides of almost any issue. The best we can do is be diligent in research and extrapolate from what we do actually know.

Human nature, follow the dollars and realizing the depth of corruption at higher levels that are near guaranteed.

The WorthyBot thinks Dr. Fauci should be fired. @Sparks thinks Dr. Fauci should be fired and probably put in prison. Do you feel the same? If so, do you have any evidence supporting these conclusions?

I agree that it is difficult to know much of anything for certain. Personally, I would hesitate to claim that someone should be fired or imprisoned without some very solid evidence.

This is the last link on page 1. The article has a helpful list of bullet points to summarize the article and this is one of them: "'In his email, in the subject line, he says 'gain of function research.' He was admitting it to his private underlings seven to eight months ago,' Paul said"

Fauci was double-checking with Auschincloss. That is not admission of known gain-of-function research. They concluded that according to standards, they were in the clear.

So.......

No matter how vociferous Dr. Paul is, there is still no evidence - that I have seen - that there was any gain-of-function research at the WIV and no evidence that Dr. Fauci knew it if there were.

Granted, the NIH probably has some kind of specific definition to exactly what "gain-of-function" is, and they were able to determine that Dr. Shi's research on chimeric viruses was ok by that definition. Not all scientists agree with whatever definition the NIH was using. Nevertheless, I have not yet seen any evidence that Dr. Fauci lied. Unless you provide some sort of further evidence, all I can conclude is that you are swayed by Dr. Paul's comments and assume that if he says so, then it must be true. That is really a weak position from which to claim that someone should lose their job and probably go to prison.
