1 John 2:17 (NKJV)
And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
What are the lust(s) of the world that are passing away?
They would be any desire that controls other than the truth…
For the truth is to control all, because living in the truth, is, living in love…. For the truth itself does expose how not living in love, and living in lie, has corrupted all, has deceived all, and that darkness has indeed blinded the eyes of fallen man… For walking in the light is a real thing, as clear understanding is a real thing, and as knowing the truth is a real thing…  For this light, this knowing, and this understanding can be known and does exist… For this experiencing of the truth, this experiencing of the eternally real, the beginning of which, is found in the new birth, for that is its purpose…
This seeing and understanding is what the new creation is born into and for, for it can and does walk as He walks… Living out from this new birth is the walking and living in newness of life.. For Christ is our Savior and He has come to save us from the darkness, that not only is around us, but in us… But not only from something, but to something, and that something is love, righteousness and the truth… All being variations on a theme and that theme is that which is free from all disorder… For that is what walking in the light as He is in the light is, a walking in no disorder or if one would, the perfectness that is God Himself…..
For this walking and living in the light is to begin in the time of this life… All accessed by the faith of the heart willing to give up the old and in humble resignation and patience trust the operation of God in the life…
Be so blessed in this humble resignation of life..
By reckoning yourself dead to sin and alive unto God on a moment by moment basis, for he that has died is freed from sin….
This truth seen, will open one up to the operation of God in one’s life… This is the doorway to walk in newness of life… For all things come from God on the basis of one’s faith turned towards Him….
Take these words before God and ask about them.. For if one would, blessings and the explosion of relationship will be the fruit, for the just shall live by faith is the truth to be walked in…
Be blessed in the walking, Not me
For if it helps;
Christ Himself during the time of His earthly sojourn lived a resigned life to God… With the words, ‘not my will but thine be done’…
This absolute surrendered life to God, is the walk as He walked… In this walking, trusting, resigning up one’s life to Him for the manifestation of righteousness in all things, will the truth of light and darkness be seen, the truth of right and wrong, the deciding line between Christ and the life of self… Than as the morning star arises in the heart, the life is blessed indeed..
Blessed is this truth and blessed are they that see into this truth….
Hope it helps, be so blessed, Not me
Matthew 1624 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?
It is not easy to "deny himself and take up the cross."  We have to prove worthy of Jesus’ favor and we his followers must be courageous and self-sacrificing.  Yes, when Jesus thus comes, “he will repay each one according to his behavior.”  I would be interested in what specifically you believe we should sacrifice in this "world" so as to be showing our Christlike behavior?
If it’s ok that I chime in here with a answer, (for the considering), to the question of what we need to or should sacrifice;
The answer is, everything, our very selfs.. That is everything that was born in Adam, our self-life…
This is the reckoning oneself dead that is put forth in scripture as the only way to overcome all of the fallen nature..
This is the lesson in life to be learned if one would be willing to follow Christ in the everything…
This lesson can not be learned from the outside, it has to be seen inwardly in the life, in one’s relationship with Christ…
The answer is very simple, yet still, the hardest lesson to learn, but once learned by experience, the salvation given in Christ is all He says it is…
May He cause us all to know what our salvation in Christ consists of by experience for the walking in newness of life..
For the pondering and considering..
Be blessed in Christ, Not me
    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.
      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.
      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.
      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.
      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”
    • Understanding the Enemy!
      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!
      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.
      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,
      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.
      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!
    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,
      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.
      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
