SH... Christ rules the millenium with an iron-fist. He will be very present. And the Church will reign with him!

ok...but it still seems strange to me...will people HAVE the Holy Spirit as well, and will people 'become saved' as they do now a days...or will it be different? I don't mean to be stupid, but none of this really makes sense to me...there seem to be loopholes IMHO that can't seem to find answers?

Greetings Serving Him,

HOW do those living on earth, procreated new people come to know Christ and accept Him as their savior? Do they follow the Bible as well? At will "Christ Come Again" for them, as the bible says, or will there be a new bible? Do they also get baptized, and does the Holy Spirit live in them AS WELL AS CHRIST living on earth in whatever state He will come again in?

You are right in asking this question, because it is not an easy one for pre-tribbers to answer. According to THEIR interpretation, much of the Bible does not apply to the GREAT TRIBULATION SAINTS. They also promote a confusing idea that the Holy Spirit is taken up (out of the way - the RESTRAINER) when the RAPTURE occurs, and thus apparently all those GREAT TRIBULATION SAINTS have to figure out from their OWN CARNAL minds what the Bible is all about.

Since Romans 10 gives us a pattern of HOW salvation occurs - HOW CAN THEY HEAR UNLESS SOMEONE IS SENT - they attribute this to Angels announcing the Gospel over the entire earth, or perhaps finding a Bible hidden somewhere that they accidently run across, OR since all the REAL CHRISTIANS have gone up on the rapture and are no longer around, THEN the GREAT TRIBULATION SAINTS conclude that "Hey, they must have been right since they are not here anymore, so I guess I had better start believing." BUT OF COURSE, they do this without the Holy Spirit. Of course there are MULTITUDES BEYOND COUNT that accidently find those Bibles that are LEFT BEHIND.

Can I get any more cynical over that FALSE DOCTRINE?

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

thanks dad ernie...yes this is all very new to me...and it doesn't seem to me (perhaps I'm wrong) that it really matters which way it is. What is important is how you live your life and serve Christ by serving others.

One more question... does the thousand year time-period happen AFTER Christ's Second Coming and before the Final Judgment? I know that Christ says, "For the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done" (Matt. 16:27), and "when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. . . . And they [the goats] will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life" (Matt. 25:31

It seems to me that Christ's Second Coming is being split into different events according to what I'm reading on here with this 1000 year reign. But I think that scripture doesn't do this... For this pre-trib view, doesn't Christ seemingly have three DIFFERENT 'comings'

1) one when he was born in Bethlehem

2) one when he returns for the rapture at the tribulation

Servinghim,

I'm the one that orginated the topic on Christ's 1,000 year reign. I am a post Trib believer. No, I do not believe in 3 raptures. I believe as the scriptures say, there will be ONE. ANd that will be at the time of the battle of Armageddon. The 1,000 year reign of Christ isn't another rapture but, it is God taking back governmental control back on the Earth. God gave man the governmental reigns for these times we are living in. After we are raptured we will come back to Earth with Christ and first, rescue Israel. They will be losing the battle of Armageddon when God will win the battle for them.

These are not raptures, there just events that occur, according to the Bible after the rapture.

Servinghim,

and when will these people have their final judgment? Are there 2 final judgments? one PRIOR and one AFTERWARDS...for it seems that in Christ's second coming, it seems to me that this is THE END...

Scripture, IMHO, does not depict the world as experiencing a period of complete (or relatively complete) Christianization before the Second Coming. There are many verses that speak of the age between the First and Second Comings as a time of great sorrow and strife for Christians, and one revealing passage is the parable of the wheat and the weeds (Matt 13:24

Servinghim,

The way I understand it, the 1,000 year reign will be after the rapture but before the final judgement. Because after the final judgement God destroys the Earth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
