John 14:21 (NASB20)
“The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.”

     ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The connecting of these two thoughts is almost scary because it is so vivid…
The keeping of Christ’s commandments, to Christ revealing of Himself…
The profoundness of this statement, but even the more, the promise there is in this statement… Which is the putting forth the way forward of one’s relationship with Christ..… Meaning, that to the degree one’s heart wants to have a relationship with Christ, to that degree can that heart have a relationship with Christ… The keeping of Christ’s commandments being the doorkeeper…
So than how can one keep Christ’s  commandments on a moment by moment basis?
When I was younger I would scream and cry to God about why He would not fix me… Me, being the disaster that I was, I knew how wrong the motivations of my heart were, I knew how wrong my reasonings were, how much I didn’t know or understand, I longed to have a good heart, but could not make myself.. I would do so so for a time and be able to control my judgments, but would always fail sooner or later.. Henceforth would I cry, God why won’t you fix me? … Not knowing He couldn’t fix the old creation, it had to be put to death to stop its workings..
So therefore, because my salvation i.e. (fixing me) was His highest priority, He did one so much the better……
He therefore killed me, meaning, that He showed me that when Christ died on the cross, He put me to death with Him, which, as with all deaths, frees that one from their life… Therefore to the degree I have faith or reckon into this truth, am I freed from all my failing judgments to be pleasing to God… He showed me He brought to birth a new creation in me, which creation grows by the faith of my heart turned towards Him.. In this new birth is the obedience to Him found, so that the law might be fulfilled in me, but not by me… So with a constant looking off to Him to grow this new life in me, which fruit is the manifestation of righteousness in my doings, do I look to Him…
For He taught me to the degree I reckon myself dead to sin and alive unto Him, to that degree will I walk in all the light I understand…. So with a constant heart to see into the commandments the deeper, that I might walk in the light of righteousness the more, do I look to Him…
Faith and faith in God alone is the requirement, a constant looking off to Him in all things…  For I have died and my life is hid with Christ in God.. That I might by experience experience this truth the deeper..
Be blessed in your relationship with our Savior, Not me
Joh 14:21  Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”
22  Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself to us, and not to the world?”
23  Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.  [ESV]
These verses are referring to the promise of the Holy Spirit that would be given to believers of the gospel. Preceding your cited verses Jesus taught this:
John 14:15  “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
16  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever,
17  even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
18  “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
verses 17 and 22 are directly connected.
What Y'shua (Jesus) said goes right along with what he said in the beginning, "if you love me keep my commandments."
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, - Deu 7:9 ESV
God equates love with action/obedience not some fuzzy emotion or some cheap lip serve, but obedience to his commandments.
Listen to what Apostle John said:
 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. - 1Jo 5:3 ESV
And this is love, that we walk according to his commandments; this is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it. - 2Jo 1:6 ESV
Also in another passage he said its by our obedience that confirms if we know him or not.
And by this we know that we have come to know him, IF we keep his commandments. Whoever says "I know him" but does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him, - 1Jo 2:3-4 ESV
People who go around saying, "Yes I know God, he knows my heart" but live in willful disobedience to his  commandments are liars and the truth "Y'shua" is not in them.
    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.
      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.
      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.
      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.
      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”
    • Understanding the Enemy!
      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!
      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.
      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,
      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.
      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!
    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,
      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.
      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."
      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
