I'm sorry Rollin and I'm not trying to be a pain, but once again could you throw some commentary in here. I trust that when you read world news you are seeing things from a prophetical birds eye view. I don't have the advantage so I need some help. Can you help me understand all of this in the way that you intend it.

In Yeshua's love

Teri

You're not a pain Teri,

There's not much to say on the last two posts. I'm just watching with interest, and wondering why Israel is starting to bend. Whatever is ahead, I doubt if it's anything good for Israel, but we all know what's coming.

Solana Scores Iraq - Israel!

Here are two more unbelievable reports. First: The UK's Independent says the EU's High Representative Javier Solana told them the United States has agreed to allow the international community to take control of all coalition troops in Iraq -- including American (Read about it here>>>> http://news.independent.co.uk/world/politi...sp?story=464488 According to the Independent Solana said:

The United States accepts that to avoid humiliating failure in Iraq it needs to bring its forces quickly under international control and speed the handover of power.

What strikes me about this unexpected turn in president Bush's foreign policy is it was Solana who broke the news -- not the president. Is Solana now speaking for the United States too?

And this brings up an important question for us on here on FulfilledProphecy. Since Solana broke the news, just how much did he have to do with this agreement? Well, the Independent provides our answer:

As the EU's foreign policy representative, Mr. Solana has been playing a significant, behind-the-scenes role.

But that's just the first report. Here's comes the second: The Israeli Haaretz is reporting the Bush administration has informed Israel the U.S. is going to support the Russian resolution asking for a UN Security Council endorsement of the Road Map peace plan (Read about it here>>>> http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/361275.html

It's evident the Western leaders are wheeling and dealing. If you've been following my commentaries, you know I was thinking a deal may be in the works. If America wants EU help in Iraq, there would be a price to pay. For starters, America would have to support the EU's enforcment of the road map in Israel (See what Herb thinks 10-1-03>>>> http://fulfilledprophecy.com/solana's_...middleeast.html In other words, I don't think it is a coincidence these two reports are coming out at the same time. A deal has been made.

Like they say in those old detective stories, the plot thickens. So it looks like NATO may be taking command in both Iraq and Israel. In Iraq with American and coilition forces on the ground, in Israel it will be European forces. And here's the problem: I fear NATO may be already falling under the EU's and Solana's control. Here's why I say this:

When the French EU presidency and Solana moved command of the 10-nation Western European Union military alliance into the Council of Europe back in 2000, it's my opinion elements in the military alliance were attempting to take control of the EU. In fact, that's why I wrote my book. Now, I suspect these elements may be attempting the same with NATO.

In other words, besides watching the rise of the first beast of Revelation -- the revived Roman Empire under 10 kings, we may now be watching the rise of the second beast -- the Babylon of Revelation (See what Herb thinks 8-9-03>>>> http://fulfilledprophecy.com/international_Iraq.html

And, this suggests the False Prophet may be standing in the wings.

And even more interesting, now it looks like these two major events of Bible prophecy could be coming together around an incredible new personality on the world stage -- the EU's first High Representative of Common Foreign and Security Policy, Javier Solana.

Stay tuned!

Security Council approves resolution adopting road map

By Shlomo Shamir, Haaretz Correspondents, and News Agencies

The United Nations Security Council unanimously

approved on Wednesday a Russian-sponsored

resolution to formally adopt the road map peace

plan as a means of resolving the

Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

The American government had

made clear to Israel its

intention to back the

resolution, but senior U.S.

officials told their Israeli

counterparts they would

attempt to make alterations

to the Russian proposal.

Israel strongly opposed

Russia's intention to bring the resolution to

the United Nations.

"More resolutions is not the solution," said

Israel's deputy UN ambassador Aryeh Mekel. "We

need to see action on the ground, namely that

the Palestinians will finally start dismantling

the infrastructure of terror which is their

obligation according to the road map."

The Palestinians expressed their satisfaction

with the Security Council approval of the

resolution.

Nasser Al-Kidwa, the Palestinian UN observer,

said the resolution "could be a watershed in

the history of the Middle East peace process"

because it was the first in years to focus on a

political settlement and signaled the full

engagement of the Security Council "in the

peacemaking process."

The resolution is also "the first that focuses

entirely on the two-state solution" as the way

to achieve a political settlement and

comprehensive peace, he said.

The draft resolution gives approval to the road

map peace plan for the Middle East.

Deputy Russian Foreign Minister Yuri Fedotov

said that Russia had officially submitted the

draft to the United Nations on Wednesday, the

Interfax news agency reported. He added that

several other Security Council members backed

Russia's move.

Russia's envoy to the UN, Sergei Lavrov,

presented the draft to the Security Council,

Fedotov said. He said that Russia had made the

move after "fruitful" consultations.

During his visit to Russia earlier this month,

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon told Russian

President Vladimir Putin that the road map was

aimed at forging a bilateral agreement between

Israel and the Palestinians and could not work

if imposed by outsiders.

"The purpose of this resolution is to give an

additional impetus to international efforts,

including efforts made by the four

international co-sponsors to promote the

fulfillment of the parties' obligations under

the road map," Fedotov said. "There is no

alternative to that now, and the resolution

must play a positive role."

Israel has formally accepted the road map, but

attached a list of reservations making its

implementation dependent on the Palestinians'

disarming and disbanding militant groups and

stipulating that any monitoring be under U.S.

control.

Israel Defiant Over Barrier After Bush Criticism

Nov 20, 8:58 AM (ET)

By Corinne Heller

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israel responded defiantly on Thursday to unusually sharp criticism by President Bush of a barrier it is building through Palestinian areas in the West Bank.

Israeli Vice Premier Ehud Olmert said the barrier, a measure Israel contends is necessary to stop suicide bombers and which the Palestinians condemn as a land grab, would remain an option.

"Israel will always have the right to take unilateral steps for separation from the Palestinians through a fence or other means," Olmert told Israel Radio.

In a speech in London on Wednesday, Bush toughened his stance over the barrier, saying Israel must not prejudice final peace negotiations "with the placement of walls and fences."

Further diplomatic pressure on Israel came from the U.N. Security Council, which voted unanimously for a Russian-drafted resolution supporting a Middle East peace plan known as the "road map."

Israel had opposed the resolution, wanting no U.N. role in peacemaking since it sees the world body as pro-Palestinian.

"Judgment regarding the plan's implementation will be in the hands of the United States," Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's office said in a statement. "Israel will not accept any other intervention in the implementation of the plan."

The United States is the chief sponsor of the road map, which lays out steps Israel and the Palestinians should take toward setting up a Palestinian state by 2005.

Underscoring Israeli rejection of the U.N. resolution, Sharon said in a speech in Tel Aviv that Israel was committed to the road map "that President Bush presented."

"In addition to this, we do not rule out unilateral steps," he said in apparent reference to the West Bank barrier.

GAZA TRUCE TALKS

Egyptian mediators in Gaza held a second day of talks with Palestinian militants on a truce with Israel that could shore up the road map, which has been stalled by persistent violence.

Sharon and Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qurie are expected to meet next week for the first time since the new Palestinian government was installed on November 12.

After meeting Qurie and Egyptian mediators in Gaza on Wednesday, the main Palestinian militant factions said they had agreed in principle to talks in Cairo early next month on a truce with Israel.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad, both committed to Israel's destruction, said Egypt had proposed talks on December 2. Arafat's Fatah faction would also attend.

Qurie also hopes to win Israeli agreement to a truce and move beyond a unilateral cease-fire that militants declared in June and which collapsed in a spate of violence two months later.

Israel rules out any formal truce with Islamic militants but has said it will suspend a campaign to capture or kill their leaders if attacks against Israelis cease.

Solana's November Gifts

Constance Cumbey likes to point out how the EU's High Representative, Javier Solana, seems to receive his biggest gifts in the month of November.

In her excellent CD, Jaiver Solana, Mystery Man of the New World Order, Constance says:

In ten days of November, 1995, a relatively obscure Spanish Socialist politician, officially a Marxist until September 29, 1979, came to global power. He was made the sole voice of Europe to negotiate and sign a treaty between the European Union and Israel. He chaired a conference with an anti-clerica agenda that also included eliminating USA presence in the Mediterranean. At the end of those ten days Javier Solana, that man, was made head of NATO. He was immediately given powers that no head of NATO, before or since, has ever possessed. He started a campaign to change international law. The world would never be the same.

I think Constance may be right about Solana's November gifts. In my book, Recommendation 666, I wrote:

Although the Amsterdam treaty was signed in 1997, it didn't become effective until May 1999. Then just five months later, on October 15, 1999, a remarkable man became the first to hold this office [EU High Representative]. He was was a 56-year-old Spaniard by the name of Javier Solana Madariaga ... Then on November 25 1999, while America was about to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, something big did happen -- something even I wasn't expecting. Solana's already lofty position was made even more powerful. Solana put on his third hat and became the Secretary General of the WEU military alliance. In other words, Solana had now been placed in a position of influence over those "core" 10 Brussels Treaty Powers. He was now head of Europe's exclusive military club.

One evening last October, after completing her talk show, I recall Constance saying to me:

I wonder what Solana will be given this November?

Well, now we know. If you recall, at the beginning of the month of November Solana was placed in charge of the EU's new defense agency (Read about it here>>>> http://www.euractiv.com/cgi-bin/cgint.exe?...6661&-home=home. And now, at the end of the month of November, Solana has finally been given what he's been wanting all along -- his own military command structure, separate from NATO (Read about it here>>>>http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2003/11/30/...0127273933.html

And if you are a regular visitor here at FulfilledProphecy.Com, you know this is what we've been expecting to happen.

Sending In The First String

The clock is ticking and the U.S. is sending in it's first string -- Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld (Read about it here>>>> http://news.independent.co.uk/europe/story...sp?story=468569

(And here>>>> http://www.euobserver.com/index.phtml?sid=9&aid=13731

The EU leaders are in the final rounds of negotiations over their new military command structures, and things apparently aren't going in America's favor.

The Bush Administration understands this isn't just another game -- it's for the survival of NATO. Evidently, when both President Bush and Secretary of State Colin Powell failed to stop the anti-American ball from rolling, Washington decided it was time to send in it's conservative heavy weight Rumsfeld.

But Rumsfeld is liked even less in Europe than Bush and Powell. It was Rusmfeld who infuriated France and Germany by calling them "old Europe" for failing to support America's war in Iraq. Ironically, now it's the same Rumsfeld who appears to be America's last hope for saving NATO.

Will Rusmfeld succeed where Bush and Powell failed. I don't think so. You see, now more than ever it's important that we keep our eye on the ball -- the ball being the Bible prophecies. The prophecies indicate this revived Roman Empire we now see emerging in Europe will fall under the control of a 10-nation alliance and one man. And, as you know, this is what I suspect could now be happening.

Yes, the clock is ticking.

Are you ready?

No Chance of NATO In Israel ... Now

When I first read this report, I thought I might be wrong about plans to send EU/NATO troops into Israel to enforce the Road Map. According to Haaretz.com, Lord Robertson says NATO will not become involved in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. The report begins by saying:

NATO will not serve as an international buffer force between Israel and the future Palestinian state (Read about it here>>>> http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/368154.html

And the report ends by saying:

Therefore, there is no chance of NATO becoming involved in a third arena, such as Israeli-Palestine, officials in Brussels say.

So, I began thinking I was wrong about plans in the works to send EU/NATO forces into Israel. That is, until I read the article a little more closely. That's when I found it -- the Euro-spin [saying one thing and meaning the opposite]. It was in the middle of the report. It says:

Robertson, who will be leaving office at the end of this month, said in the future, NATO countries ... will consider involvement in the Middle East political process but no such involvement is currently being considered.

I say it in Recommendation 666 and I'll say it again, double talk and contradictions flow from Brussels like biblical milk and honey. And here we have another great example. In other words, translating from Euro-spin, right now -- under Robertson's watch -- there are no plans to send NATO forces into Israel. But, there are plans in the works to begin planing for such an operation in the future -- after Lord Robertson is gone.

Make sense? It does if you know Euro-spin.

Stay tuned.

Christopher Wants Solana World Back

In Recommendation 666 I write it was reported Warren Christopher was the person who suggested Javier Solana to Bill Clinton for the job of head of NATO in 1995. And, Clinton took Christopher's advice.

As the new head of NATO, Solana's job was to restructure NATO for the changed realities of the post Cold War. Part of this restructuring was to make it possible for NATO's expansion eastward. Another part of this restructuring was to make possible the European leader's dream of having their own military wing.

In other words, the Western leaders wanted Solana to create for them a new pan-European security order that if possible could go global. And, they wanted Solana to use NATO as their platform. That's why I call it Solana World.

Then something happened to these leaders global plans -- the cowboy George W. Bush showed up. Now Christopher is longing for those good-old-days. He's urging the Dems to unite and get that crazy Texan out of the way (Read about it here>>>> http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/artic...-2003Nov26.html

The Real Deal

Details of the recent deal on EU defense made between Britain, France and Germany is coming out piece by piece. According to Charles Grant, director of the Centre for European Reform, the deal primarily has three parts.

One: It calls for a new operational planning unit established within the Council Secretariat. The reason this is interesting is because this is Javier Solana territory. Not only is Solana Secretary General of the Council, he is also the EU High Representative and Secretary General of the 10-nation Western European Union alliance.

Two: The agreement allows for the creation of an avant-garde defense group of EU nations that meet certain criteria -- much like the eleven EU nations who share the Euro. And, evidently Britain, France and Germany will determine which EU nations meet the criteria. The reason I think this may be important is because it makes way for a 10 king defense alliance.

Three: There will be no EU mutual defense clause included in the new, super EU's constitution. This may be really important. You see, this will allow the 10 nation alliance in the Council to continue their mutual defense relationship in the modified Brussels Treaty.

One more thing: It looks like Spain, Poland and Britain are standing together against adopting the new "double-majority" voting system that is proposed in the EU's Draft Constitution (Read about it here>>>> http://www.euobserver.com/index.phtml?sid=9&aid=13773

These three nations want to maintain the current weighted voting system that is currently being used. Here's why this may be important:

Under the current weighted voting system, the 10 nation alliance holds the majority vote in the Council. And, even after the EU becomes 25 nations, these 10 nations will still hold the majority vote.

I may be jumping the gun on this one. But, to me it looks like things could be falling into place for Solana and his 10 nations.

Stay tuned!

Geneva Plan Has No 'Safety Net' for Israel, Military Expert Says

Julie Stahl

Jerusalem Bureau Chief

Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - The Geneva Initiative signed this week between Israeli left-wingers and Palestinians offers no "safety net" to Israel should the Palestinians renege on their obligations, a military expert here said.

Secretary of State Colin Powell is set to meet with authors of the Geneva Initiative Yossi Beilin and Yasser Abed Rabbo in Washington on Friday, despite Israel's urging not to do so.

The plan purports to be a model agreement to end the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict, solving the thorniest disputes between the two sides.

Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat has given casual backing to the deal, but officials said he backed it just to divide Israel. Thousands of Palestinians have taken to the streets to protest any such agreement.

Israeli Vice Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said earlier that he believed Powell was making a "mistake" to meet with the planners of the accord and that such a meeting would be unhelpful to the peace process.

But President Bush said on Thursday that while he still backed the road map peace plan accepted by both sides, he thought the Geneva Accord was "productive" as long as terror is fought, there is security, and a free and democratic Palestinian state emerges.

Israeli experts and analysts have been harsh on the accord, which was mailed in advance of its signing to virtually every Israeli household and published in Palestinian newspapers.

Reserve Maj.-Gen Yaakov Amidror of the Institute for Contemporary Affairs in Jerusalem charged that the proposal "conceded almost all the security arrangements for the West Bank and Gaza Strip sought by past Israeli governments" and would leave Israel without a "safety net" if the Palestinians violated the agreement.

\expndtw6"[Geneva] entails an almost total abandonment of the high ground dominating the metropolitan Tel Aviv region, leaving the central stretch of Israel's coastal strip, where most of its population and industrial capacity are located, completely exposed, without any real strategic depth.

\expndtw0

\expndtw6"The transfer of the Jordan Rift Valley to the Palestinians leaves Israel with no ability to defend itself from threats from the east, should they emerge once again in the future," Amidror said in a written assessment. "Geneva provides Israel with two isolated, and hence worthless, early-warning stations there]."

"In essence, almost all of Israel's security requirements were exchanged for the idea of deploying a foreign military presence that will be supervised by an international committee created to oversee the agreement's implementation," he said. According to the agreement international monitors would include the U.S., United Nations, European Union and Arab states.

Prof. Shlomo Avineri, described as a moderate-left activist and a professor of history and political science at Hebrew University of Jerusalem wrote earlier this week in the Hebrew daily Yediot Aharonot that while the initiators of Geneva are entitled to their express their opinions, they didn't have a right to "brazenly lie to the public.""\expndtw0

Avineri charges among other things while initiators said the document contains Palestinian recognition of Israel as "the state of the Jewish people," it in fact does not.

"The 'Jewish people' is not mentioned in the document. What is does say is that 'the two sides recognize Palestine and Israel as the national homes of their nations.' Whoever wishes can certainly say that Israel as 'the state of all its citizens' is the national home of 'the Israeli nation,' which includes Jews and Arabs. It is no coincidence that the word 'Jew' doesn't appear in the document, he said.

The accord initiators also claim that the Palestinians have given up the "right of return" but Avineri said this is not the case.

"The document says United Nations Resolution 194 and other resolutions shall be the basis for the solution of the refugee problem. To be sure, resolution 194 doesn't speak of the 'right' of return - it only determines that the refugees shall return to their former places.

"As the Arabs see it, Resolution 194 is the basis of the international legitimacy of the right of return," he said.

In another twist, the U.S.-based private intelligence firm Stratfor said that Europe's support for the Geneva Initiative -- Switzerland backed and paid for it -- is aimed at competing with the U.S.

"The unofficial proposal has become part of a European effort to seize the initiative in shaping regional dynamics in the Middle East. Europe is moving to build alliances with Middle Eastern partners, like Iran and the Palestinians, with which the United States cannot directly align," Stratfor wrote in a recent bulletin.

"The European strategy is intended to curb the nearly boundless U.S. influence in the Middle East without triggering a direct confrontation with Washington. The maneuvers will work to expand European involvement in the region in the short- to medium term and strengthen the positions of states in the area that are out of U.S. favor...

"Europe's efforts to curb U.S. influence do not stem from a dislike of Washington's agenda on moral or humanitarian grounds. Rather, the U.S. agenda for the direction of the Middle East - along with other issues - competes directly with the European vision and reduces the impact of European states like France, Germany and Britain on global affairs in everything from economics and energy to the military and politics," the report said.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
