Kofi Chooses Sides

Even as the interim Iraqi President, Ghazi al-Yawar, is in Brussels asking the EU and NATO for more help stabilizing his country, UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan, is publicly siding with the Iraqi insurgents and beheading terrorists (Read about it here)>>>> http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/3661976.stm

This is an almost unbelievable move. Almost, I say, because Annan and certain elements within the EU have a common agenda. That agenda is to establish a new world order that is based on international law and international enforcement capabilities. So, because what the US and Britain did in Iraq was without Kofi's and the international gang's permission, Kofi calls it illegal.

Who are these certain elements with the EU? As I've been reporting, High Representative Javier Solana's new security doctrine for the EU, A Secure Europe in a Better World, calls for the creation of Kofi's new international order. Here's my point: Since Kofi Annan and Javier Solana have the same global agenda, there's little doubt that Kofi's statement calling the Iraqi war illegal and Solana's announcement that the EU would try to help more in Iraq may have been coordinated.

You see, just like the Israeli/Palestinian conflict has become a proxy war between the US and the EU, now I fear the Iraqi war may be becoming a proxy war also.

And, Kofi has chosen sides.

Everything is coming together in a way bigger than I could have imagined...

We have Annan and the UN dropping a diplomatic bombshell, basically furthering their attempts to establish the authority of international law over everyone, even the United States.

(Meanwhile, no one is bringing up the fact that part of the definition of a free nation is the sovereignty that international law infringes upon!)

At the same time, the EU is both beefing up and making commitments (which spit in the face of the US) with their defense institution! In other words, they are increasing their capacity for enforcing the international laws!

How long until the US gives in and joins up? As long as it takes to put John Kerry or one of his counterparts into office, perhaps?

And, how long until Israel decides to allow this lovely "human security force" to help them out? They began saying "peace and safety" at the '92 election, and will shout it at the top of their lungs when they sign the covenant with the beast government.

Yes, things are coming together, all right. Look to the skies, Christians, for your redemption draweth nigh! :il:

Solana Wants Seat At UN

I find Germany's hypocrisy quite revealing. You see, Germany has been one of the motors behind the creation of the European Union from the very beginning. And, Germany has been among the most vocal calling for a strong federal Europe where the Union has more say than the member states.

That's what makes Germany's demand for a permanent seat on the new UN Security Council so morally and intellectually absurd. Like I've been reporting, for the EU's High Representative and new Foreign Minister Javier Solana to take his rightful position -- the one supposedly given to him by the EU heads -- there will have to be some horn pulling (kings subdued).

As far as we prophecy students are concerned, this restructuring of the UN Security Council has been expected. However, the fact that it appears to be happening now, in concert with all the other prophetic events we've been trying to keep up with, tells us the final events of prophecy many not be far away.

On top of Germany's demand for a personal seat on the UN Security Council instead of a joint seat for the EU, the Druge Report posted a story warning the EU could split if the new Constitution isn't ratified by all its member states. The article went on to examine what could happen in such a case. Some say it would be the end of the EU. Others said it wouldn't. The bottom line is, nobody seems to know what would happen.

What do I think will happen if the new Constitution crashes and burns? I think, when the smoke settles, we'll see what the Bible predicts. We'll see a 10-king alliance formed around one man.

In the mean time, the man who was given the job to run the EU's common foreign and security policy is doing what he was hired to do. Yes indeed, the Bible tells us the day will come when one man will finally rise to represent this reunited Europe. It tells us, on his rise to power, he will have to subdue three kings among a 10-king alliance. But, his foreign policy destiny will lead to his demise. He will make a seven-year agreement with Israel that he will violate 3 1/2 years later, bringing God's judgement on him and his kingdom (Daniel 7:7-8, 9:27).

As I write, the political stage in Europe and the Middle East appears to be set for these foretold events to happen. In fact, I think it all could come down very soon now.

Italian foreign minister pushes for EU seat at UN

The Italian foreign minister Franco Frattini is adding pressure on Germany to step back from its plans to secure a permanent seat in the UN inner circle, the Security Council.

In an article published today (27 September) in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Mr Frattini warns of national egoism. Getting a European Union permanent seat in the Security Council is anything but impossible, he argues.

"The prospect of a European seat in the Security Council is anything but impossible. But it might be if we get stuck in the one-way street of national egoism", Mr Frattini writes.

"Such a position would destroy any hope that Europe could one day speak with a single voice in the United Nations", he continues.

Another Horse Race

We may be in for another horse race. And, it's between the same two horses -- the EU's High Representative Javier Solana and Germany's Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer. The last time it was a race to see who would become the EU's new, super Foreign Minister. As you know, Solana won that race. The bottom line is, the UN Security Council is long over due for an upgrade. Its current structure was created by the the winning powers at the end of the second World War. These powers were the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China.

Today, the world has changed drastically. Besides Germany, there are other nations who feel they deserve a seat on theSecurity Council now also -- such as Japan.

Like I've been reporting, this restructuring of the UN Security Council has been expected by us students of Bible prophecy. And, the fact that it appears to be happening now, in concert with all the other prophetic events we've been witnessing, tells us the final events of prophecy may not be far away.

The most interesting part of all this for me is, for the EU's Solana to win this race and take his rightful position, there may have to be some horn pulling (Daniel 7:8).

Yes indeed, we may be in for another good race.

The Global Test

Before I comment on Kerry's statement in the above news report, I would like to point out another report that Reuters posted as related. Evidently, whoever becomes the next President will have the opportunity to change the balance of power in the United States Supreme Court (Read about it here)>>>> http://www.reuters.com/newsArticle.jhtml;j...storyID=6390548

As I thought about these two reports, I realized the gravity of the situation for God's people. The issue isn't Republican or Democrat -- Conservative or Liberal. The issue before us Americans in this coming election is sovereignty.

I don't have the link, but recently I read where Supreme Court Justice Ruth Ginsburg stated in her opinion international treaties take precedence over the United States Constitution. In other words, if Kerry gets elected in November and appoints fellow liberal globalists to the Supreme Court, we Americans could soon loose our constitutional protections and become subject to foreign laws.

Here is the point I'm trying to make: When, and if, Kerry's "global test" is applied to us Christians in America, who will decide who passes? It will be our Supreme Court.

So, when you vote this November, ask yourself the following question.

Are you ready for Kerry's "global test?"
