As this level of consuming plastic is relatively recent, science still doesn't know the full ramifications on peoples health. Can't wait until we're all consuming two credit cards a week. Other consumables with the highest recorded plastic levels include shellfish, beer and salt. The average everyone on earth is consuming is the equivalent of a credit cards worth of plastic weekly. If this ingestion is spread out over various sources, then I imagine people who consume more of the items listed in which plastic is prevalent, consume more than say someone who cannot afford to consume so much bottled water, shellfish, or beer. Thats not to say we shouldn't stand up for the truth or be active politically...we absolutely should, but it should be so that we can draw others to Jesus.
