In the early 80s people of the new age religion moved into the upper levels of most of the UN departments and if you are unlucky enough to have interfaced with them in the mid to upper 80s you could have asked and they would openly tell you that they were setting up the structure for the Antichrist to rule the world. While the UN does not have global authority to rule everyone, they do control a lot of what people are taught and suggestions that bypass governments and go to local leaders is where their power structure is. The original Agenda 21 that has evolved into Agenda 2030 sets standards for local city and state governments to make local rules that help set their agendas in motion. Satan pretty much has control of the world through our freewill. He doesn't have the authority to just take over the world yet, so he has his followers who have free will to do it with him.
