The Greek word "New" in New Heaven and New Earth does not mean it is a new creation. It means "made pristine". At least five times in the Psalms it says that the earth was made to REMAIN. So what shall we say to your verses? The answer lies in Hebrews 1.

• In verse 5 the creation of Genesis 1:1 is alluded to
• In verse 5 we also have the TWO coverings of the earth by water. It was covered with water in Genesis 1:2 and 1650 years later at Noah's time. So it was (i) standing OUT of water, and (ii) later standing IN water.
• In verse 6 the Holy Spirit says "the world that THEN WAS" implying that that world is gone. But we know that Noah came out of the Ark onto the SAME EARTH. And again the Holy Spirit says that world that then was PERISHED. But Noah was still on the same earth. What had happened is that all the sin and sinners, and every remembrance of it was PERISHED. Only what happened on the surface of the earth was purged.
• In verse 7 this is confirmed. The world THAT NOW IS indicates that it is a NEW one, but we know that it is the same earth. And what is its destiny? TO be covered, not by water again, but by FIRE. The FIRE purges the surface where the WORKS of men were. A "Garment" in Parable is WORKS (Rev.19:7-8)

Although he did reign from the River of Egypt to the Euphrates, he did not hold the area from Mount Hor to Hazarenan (Numbers 34:7–9)—into present-day Lebanon and Syria. The Davidic Covenant (2 Samuel 7)
God’s covenant with David was that his line would never die out and that David’s heir would sit on the throne of Israel forever (2 Samuel 7:16). Biblical scholars agree that Jesus is the fulfillment of this covenant—one of the reasons His genealogy is given for both His adoptive father (Matthew 1:1–17) and His mother (Luke 3:23–38). The Jews understood this when they laid down palm branches and their cloaks as Jesus rode into Jerusalem (Matthew 21:1–17). They expected Him to be a military/political leader that would liberate them from the Romans and make Israel a great nation again.
