It's not about size or numbers.

Each case has to be looked at on its own merits.

Don't have time to  delve into that right now, but wanted to share this.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I promise I'm not trying to be smart here :emot-highfive: but let's say instead of Katrina after the Gaza pullout, there was a large F5 tornado that tore up let's say an uninhabited ( or lightly inhabited ) portion of Kansas. Would everyone be drawing the same conclusion as the are right now ?

I'm not arguing, only wondering :emot-highfive:

God bless,

Tim

I hope the contraversy you stirred doesn't discourage you........I'm very happy for you your relationship with Lord Jesus is so very strong.  Bless you friend.

"Disaster" is relative to those it affects...in my opinion at least.  To that family in the house that got hit by lightning, it's a disaster- but to someone in a different country ( or even city ), would they even care unless they had interest in that home/family ?  Probably not.

So, when does a "disaster"  change from being a simple act of nature to the "wrath of God" ?

God bless,

Tim

One thing I noticed in the movie...The Passion....and was more than likely an accurate depiction of things....while they led Christ to calvary to be curcified...there were groves of people on the streets He was led down. But in the background...on the other streets....it was life as usual....plenty of people..completely clueless about the significance of the event unfolding in their very community....within shouting distance. Just an typical event? A lot of people were crucified....there were two others being crucified at the same time and justly so (according to the justice system of the time). So this was just an ordinary thing for anyone who didn't truly believe He was the Messiah.

He was crucified...there was an earthquake....the tapestry in the temple was torn from top to bottom...at the exect moment Christ died. Nature or act of God? How could you have been able to tell just by being there? Remember this was some guy claiming to be the Son of God...and everyone of religious authority was calling Him a heretic...the majority of people were calling Him a heretic. The majority of people failed to see God moving in their midst.

Doom, gloom, death, destruction, wrath, vengence, dogs and cats living together MASS HYSTERIA!

Go ahead and judge me for seeing the good in everything.

I see people coming together to pray and worship a merciful God. I see strangers sacrificing their own lives to try and save the lives of others. I see babies being born amidst the storm and new life being made. I see an outpouring of compassion around the world. I see widow women giving their last dollar to feed the victims. I see death toll estimates going lower and lower. I see churches opening their door to give homes to strangers. I see children giving away their toys to children who have lost theirs. I see people getting jobs who had none before the hurricane. I see the unsaved being told the words of God.

I see God smiling in heaven saying THIS IS FOR MY GLORY.

I'm watching "Dateline" coverage of K...I have heard God praised numerous times. Not one person, even the most devastated, cursed God for the storm; or even cursed the storm itself.

Five NO police SWAT team members were interviewed. One related a story about a 7-week old baby that fell into the raging waters during a rescue, and re-surfaced lifeless. The officer said, "Thanks to quick efforts to revive the baby by people in the boat...and the grace of God...the baby lived.

He said, of his fellow policemen, "We've talked to God more in the last 2 weeks than most of us have all our lives. We talk to God all day long.

Another said, "I fall asleep with my "hands together".

No, not a punishment; mercy of the highest order.

Peace,

Fiosh

I disagree with only one thing, This part:

Reflect on the first 4 seals in Revelations:

1 White Horse Conquest

2 Red Horse Division

3 Black Horse Famine

4 Pale Horse Death

if you study the seals very closely youl find that they are already completed study hard ill give you a clue the first seal is talking about the going forth of the gospel in the days of the apostles study the symbolism and you will understand

But besides that i agree!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
