If you're so on fire to expose the lies, then expose them. Do as I stated. Go down the list one by one. Don't just throw it out and expect us to do your work for you. If you have a message then lets hear it.

You say you love Him more than all of us. How can you be so arrogant as to place yourself above everyone else on this board?

You make assumptions about another's beliefs. You judge us without even knowing who we are. And when someone questions you and you run out of excuses, you put on the martyr's face.

Satan thought he was better and look what happened to him. You're walking on thin ice and you don't even know it. You can't see past your pride and that's a dangerous place to be.

Maybe you should take a break from this board and meditate on the Word. I know you don't see it but your words are a stumbling block to many on this board.

I'm not judging you....I'm just stating the facts as I see them.

Zayit, my first question is who made Mr. Koenig the judge of which denominations teach replacement theology? What criteria does he use to make that judgement?

Secondly, you said:

I love him more than all of you, take that as you will, but I am not worthy of him if I don't. And that's the truth!

I do not think that this type of statement has any place on this forum, and if you truly feel that way I'm very sorry for you.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You're sorry for me for taking the word of my master as .....Gospel? The Truth? What?

Sorry my love for G-d comes first, which is TRUTH, and then to share that with others, which I do and get this kind of response. I would love to stop but he has not approved that. I'll have to deal with you and You'll have to deal with me. Truth hurts I know, I don't think its ever easy. But I would rather people hate me now on earth than to confront me at the throne asking why didn't you tell me?

As far as Koenig, he is not the first nor last to know this, and I am sure he has mutitudinal resources at his fingertips to compile this information. Have you visited his website?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

OK I see what you intended. I would just temper you with this:

Our love for God is more than just knowing the TRUTH. It is encompassed in how we treat others (both those who hate us and those who love us). It is also tied to our obedience to His commandandments.

I found your assertion that you used to be a Christian, but are now Messianic to be disturbing. According to my understanding being Messianic does not make you any more Christian than a Gentile who is saved by the blood. You are creating a division that would not honor God. There is now (in the church) neither Jew nor Gentile. All come in the same way. All are equally saved to the uttermost. If you are under the blood of Jesus you are part of the church and Christian.

In terms of the relationship between the church and Israel, there seems to be two equally damaging theologies floating around. One states that there is no difference. The Church is the new Israel.Another equally damaging theology is that they are completely separate peoples of God. That there is only dicontinuity between the testaments and the peoples.

Both in my view fall short of the truth. Namely that Both Israel and the Church are both part of the single "promise people of God". They were under different administrative covenants (Israel under Sinai and the Church under the New Covenant). The truth of the matter is that now the new covenant is in force. Any Jewish person that wants to relate to God must come through Christ. They are part of the Church. There is now no Jew or Gentile in the Church. We are one people. That is the administration we are currently under.

That does not mean however that God is through dealing with the national entity known as Israel. Israel has a unique claim to Palestine (that the church does not have) because it was promised to them under their administrative covenant and as part of the eternal promise given to Abraham. The administrative covenant the church is under defines their landedness as in the heavenlies (in Christ). Also we are told that in the age to come we (the bride of Christ) will possess the whole world.

During the tribulation, the nation of Israel will once again be offered the new covenant, and as a nation will accept it. Jesus will sit on the throne during the millenial kingdom in Jerusalem. The nation will be regrafted into the promise vine

Thus there is continuity and discontinuity between the Church and Israel. Both are now part of the same vine - God's promise people (continuity). But historical Israel was under a different administrative covenant. They rejected the new covenant when it was offered as a nation, but will be given a second chance and will accept

Thank you Zayit.

In amongst my tirade I made the comment that I thought the subject itself would be a very interesting topic. So Deep breath, Would you explain exactly what you feel is replacement theology, and we can go from there. I was reading an article about this a few days ago, it was very fascinating. Honestly I am not exactly sure where I stand on this issue. I think Eric H had a very good grip on it though.

God Bless,

Yes, I wasn't sure if now was the time though, seeing as the temperature in here is still close to 212F  ( not talking about you) . I will look through my links and do some searches on here and see what I can find that will be concise and to the point. Perhaps it is better that I close this and start a fresh thread.

Shalom

There's a songs with the words

"They'll know we are christians by our love"

I've never heard the song

"They'll know we are christians by our denomination"

I'm glad that the people I know who are Catholic do not look down on me because I am not. I'm glad that the people I know who are Baptist do not look down on me because I am not. I'm glad that the people I know who are Pentecostal do not look down on me because I am not. I'm glad that the people I know show that they are christian by their love, not their denomination. Likewise, I will love them back as a christian, not a denomination.

Sad to see the thread coming to this. By the way Kansasdad, the community where I go to church has interchurch groups. I've seen nothing but mutual respect in these groups regardless of denomination. Sorry you've had such a rough day.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
