European Union countries late on February 24 agreed on the tenth package of sanctions against Russia.

It was announced by the representative office of Sweden in the European Union, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Together, the EU Member States have imposed the most forceful and far-reaching sanctions ever to help Ukraine win the war. The EU stands united with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. We will keep supporting Ukraine, for as long as it takes," the statement said.

The new sanctions include, in particular, tighter export restrictions regarding dual-use and technology; targeted restricted measures against individuals and entities supporting the war, spreading propaganda or delivering drones used by Russia in the war; measures against Russian disinformation.

The BIPOL initiative reports that this morning at the Machulishchi military air base, a Russian A-50 airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) military aircraft was blown up.

According to BIPOL, the front and center of the aircraft, avionics and radar antenna were damaged.

Russian soldiers are threatened with imprisonment in order to prevent desertion, which is observed in enemy troops against the background of the military successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The previous Russian tank offensives in the Luhansk Region ended with heavy losses, but the enemy does not give up hope of capturing positions and launches infantry into battle.

According to confirmed data, during more than a year of full-scale war, Russian killers took the lives of at least 462 Ukrainian children, the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) reported. Most of the children were affected in the Donetsk Region.

"As of the morning of March 4, 2023, more than 1,391 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, 462 children killed and more than 930 were injured of varying degrees of severity." The Ukrainian military last day eliminated 930 Russian soldiers, the total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 153,120 soldiers.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022 to March 05, 2023 approximately amounted to:

• personnel - about 153,120 (+930) persons were liquidated,
• tanks - 3,414 (+5) units,

• artillery systems - 2,426 (+12) units,
• MLRS - 488 (+1) units,
• air defense systems - 248 (+1) units,
• aircraft - 302 (+0) units,
• helicopters - 289 (+0) units,
• UAVs of operational-tactical level - 2,071 (+5),
• cruise missiles - 873 (+0),
• ships/boats - 18 (+0) units,
• automotive equipment and tank trucks - 5,299 (+10) units,
• special equipment - 232 (+2).

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Russian invaders are concentrating their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk directions. Last day, our defenders repelled more than 130 enemy attacks in the indicated directions.

Russian terrorists shot an unarmed Ukrainian soldier for saying "Glory to Ukraine". The head of the Office of the President, Andrii Yermak, wrote about this in his Telegram channel on Monday, March 6.
