i know of a husband wife team ( missionaries ) that when he passed on, she continued, that was a long long long time ago...... and there has been no replacement for him...... she is now ( and has been for many many years ) single handedly doing the job.....

thing is, no one else is allowed in, they shut the doors, and she was allowed to stay, and travel to anf from the USA as she needs, but she is handling the entire thing.

she is a permanent fixture, not a temporary.

when God calls us into service ( ministry is service work, even being a deacon is service work ) we are called for a life time service. and we are to follow what God leads us to do.

our deacons, and trustees and our pastors are all servants. if you call them they are at your beconing..... if you need them they will be there serving you.....

to be anything other then a servant would not be right.

Don't we have women Admins here at Worthy Boards ?

I had a post removed here already ( wasn't my fault- I promise :24::b::24::b: ) and I submitted to her authority as a leader here- what's the difference ? This board is VERY much like a church to me :b: I see nothing wrong with female admins here and I see nothing wrong with females who are called by God to serve in the Church.

That's my opinion anyway :b:

It may indeed be an old response....but still a powerful one. Jesus Christ, Who loves women more than any of us mortals possibly could, personally chose twelve disciples (later to become apostles) and nary a female. Either Jesus Christ didn't really know what He was doing in the selection process - which is the height of grotesque absurdity because Jesus Christ is GOD) - or Jesus Christ did indeed make these strategically important divine selections with fullest knowledge as to the correctness of His choices.

Good point, JOY in the JOURNEY.

I agree.

This Board is an extension of the the work of the 'church'

Part of the Body of Christ on earth.

(And a wonderful place to connect at that.)

Yes, that is a good and important point, and shows the wisdom of our Lord.

How would it have looked if a couple of women were part of His inner circle, travelling around with Him and the other disciples - they slept in various places, were often at risk.

That would have been not only out of context for that day, but highly inappropriate and suggestive.

and ( I would like to add ) who was the first witnesses of His resurrection? a womans voice was of no authority in that day, but yet, who's voice was the first to pronounce the resurrection???

what about the woman at the Well.... was not she used to spread the Gosple? she brought an entire village to Christ..... ( oops, a woman, and a permiscuous one at that )

there were and are many women that are being used by Christ for the spreading of His word... ( what is teaching? isnt it witnessing? sharing? )

when I teach, I am witnessing things i have experience with... not just from a text book.....

Exactlty !!!!

TWO powerful examples that make the point well.

Jesus drew women up to their rightful status beside Him and entrusted them with significant revelations about Himself.

(Besides whether a woman can teach or not is not a salvation- issue.

It is not the same as questioning the deity of our Lord, or the work of salvation Jesus accomplished via the CROSS through His death, resurrection and the shedding of His blood.)

I can't help but think how disappointed God must be that this is a contraversal topic. We are letting souls slip into the fire of hell. We are all called to rescue the parishing.

Genesis 1 says, starting in verse 27... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground".

Galations 3 starting in verse 26... You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourself wiht Christ. There is neither jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

I actually thought that I was born with a birth defect. I was called to ministry at the age of 16. Praise God that HE showed me the truth. AND, Praise God that I don't have to debate it, because that is wasting precious time.

I went to a friend's ordination service Friday evening. God is doing a mighty work through HER.

We are all one with Christ as the head.

Jude 22-23 - Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy; mixed with fear--hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

Blessings!

Hello,

I am needing clarification on women pastors allowing to serve in the Shephard's capacity.

I feel that there is a calling there with some of these, but I really do not know how  to make the determination of pastorial ministy.

Thank you, Gentlesound

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There are many things done today by churches that would not be allowed by Christ if He were here in the flesh, Such as incorporating the church into the beast (nation). I would suggest that you study who Christ is, and what He taught first. When you have come to the pure truth of the matter you will discover that everyone is the same. I say that we should not let anyone’s flesh dictate to God's Spirit within us what the Spirit of Christ has offered everyone whether they are Greek, Jew, Bond or free, male or female. Remember when Martha chose servitude and Mary chose Christ. So if we will separate ourselves to Christ we are no different than anyone else.

Luke 10

41 And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things.

42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her."

Gal 3

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
