Have you ever wondered why a group of men would give rights to a people that opposes how the Biblical Governmental structures were set-up?

The Right to Vote and have a Say is why we are in the current mess we are in.

I am not saying I wanted to be born into a Nation governed by Dictators.   But our Rights have also been our biggest Curse.   And Our Rights oppose the Biblical View.

Legend has it a woman asked Benjamin Franklin a question as he exited Independence Hall after the Constitutional Convention in 1787. “Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?” Franklin supposedly replied, “A republic, if you can keep it.”

How often do we hear government-talking heads speak about the Constitutional Republic vs. a democracy (mob rule)?

How does the SCOTUS interpret the Constitution on issues not addressed in any of our three legal documents?

Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Jesus paid Taxes.

The USA Church does not.

Ever take that into consideration?

Government allowing the Church to escape Taxes.  Why?

Political control. Not all churches participate in the Federal 501c3 program. The tax exemption is based on political restriction and compliance.

I've read similar to the quote/question proposed to Franklin before.   Under certain circumstances there are established Laws where the government can remove our Rights.   But we won't see that day because there are enough people voting to hand our Rights to Government.   This incident with Biden giving our Health rights to [WHO] is one such scenario.   BTW, our own Government can't stop it, it will be too late.

I believe we experienced a small taste of what is coming with the Covid restrictions, a test run in my view. As you mentioned, the W.H.O conspires to make sovereign nations subservient to them with future pandemics and outbreaks.

It takes a lot of reading, and it is scary; the power that was given to the President under the Emergency Powers Act and the associate amendments in the link below. It makes it easy for a President to suspend the Constitution and declare Martial Law for any actual or perceived emergency.

My countrymen have a tendency to look upon themselves and the times they find themselves living in now as exceptional. This is what @teddyv meant by his observation earlier in the topic, and he's quite right.

Having to wear a diaper upon one's face for a time is nothing compared to having no clothes of your own.

Complaining about the quality of food on the aisle, or rising prices, is nothing when you don't know where your next meal is coming from nor when you will receive it.

For all of this talk about how the government is doing this or doing that, as if what they're doing (or going to do) is somehow establishing their control, is laughable because governments have been in control all along.

This is not some kind of sovereign citizen utopia, my friends. We are required by law to do this, and suffer penalties if we fail to do that, all of which is the nature of civil authority.

Seriously... wearing a facial diaper (mask) is the end of all things? Having to obey laws is a terrible burden? Oh my!

There are places on this earth where brethren are put to death. There are places in this country where people starve, so all of this entitlement is quite the spectacle. In any case, since when are we, in Jesus Christ, free to do whatever we please?

We are bondservants of the living God. We are not free to do whatever we please. If wearing a diaper on the face is such a horrible thing, what happens when you lose all of your material goods? When you are persecuted for His sake?

There, rant finished.

Every 4 years Citizens Vote for a Leader and 2 years how to control or help that Leader.   But during those 4 years, decisions are made that continually deteriorate our Rights and give more Control back to the Government.

Jefferson said every man has a right to protect his land and home.

Today, you are only protected if the intruder is inside your home and you can prove there was intent to be harmed.   That is followed by a lawsuit from the criminal's family for you protecting yourself.   We have no idea that we are actually Prisoners.

It was Jesus Christ who said, 'Love your enemies,' and He told us to bless them. Thomas Jefferson didn't say nor write that.

Abraham Lincoln didn't, either. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm only concerned with the words of the Lord and what He says. Who cares about the promises or guarantees of men? Did they create this earth?

What power do they possess to keep them? Thomas Jefferson has been pushing daisies for a very long time, and those legal documents he drafted are only as good as the paper they're written on. So, men are corrupt and do wicked things... will they escape the wrath to come? They will not.

If someone wants my coat, they can have it. Why should I begrudge this of them when it was only given to me? What I do have, no one can take; what the Lord has given to me, no man can take away.

He gave me His life. What more do I possibly need? I've been hungry and had no place to stay so I'm not consumed with worry about tomorrow. Jesus Christ gave His life to me so I'm not fearful about what men might do. They can do their worst but really, it's nothing. So what?

It sure appears criminals have more “rights” than law-abiding citizens based on legitimate self-defense situations. I won’t bore anyone with the details, but a few years ago at 2:00 A.M., someone was trying to break in through the door. Before this incident, my ADT alarm went off, and it took the Sherriff’s Department 45 minutes to find my place in the country. That was a motion detector false alarm.

There was no mistaking an intruder wanted in this time, and I know not his or their intentions. The second thing that crossed my mind was the legalities I would face if he, she, or they got through that door. Self-defense experts advise you to run and cower to your bedroom or safe place, protect yourself from there (both physically and legally), and call the cops. I am not hardwired that way. The best defense is to go on the offensive.

I wanted to confront the intruder(s) outside, not to cause further damage and keep them out. I thought about recent court rulings of leaving your home and facing them, called “hunting.”

I didn’t even bother to call the Po-Po; what are they going to do when they get here besides waste my time and make a report? I spent the rest of the night with a couple of welcome packages on my hip and hands.

I inspected and repaired the door damage the following day.

Can you believe that?

I have not read any further yet to see if Dennis had replied to this but this is just a general statement I would like to make. There is is fine line or a delicate balance for the true believer these days.

On the one hand we know the expected end. But that does not mean we ignore what's going on around us and try to make a difference in my what ever way we are led.

I would be concerned if a true believer took the position of " what does it matter? Why should I vote or get involved? Jesus is coming!"

At 75 yrs I know my time is getting shorter day by day. (I thank Him every morning for another one) And I know this ole body is gonna give out/wear out at the exact nano second God calls me home. My bath room I now call the maintenance room.default_cool2.gif.49651bf02f691ce445c6a6b6022f07f8.gif

But I still do what I have to do, taking all those vitamins my wife insist I take, cut back on the salt (a little) and give blood to the VA to let the doctors tell me if I'm gonna live. I want to live. I have too much in my mind, still,  that I want to accomplish to make things better, even though I know I'm going to die.

Yes Walter! I'm with you. The world will come to an end just like my old body. But like my health, our country needs us to be involved to stay healthy. God has blessed America like no other country. We should be good stewards of all His blessings. I'm no politician, nor a political activist. But I do get involved, sent out a bazillion emails with data to share with the less involved, to those who believe we as Christians should not be involved in politics. I try to get people to vote. And that meaning an informed vote. Most here should know who Charles Finney is. I quote his opinion on politics and a Christian's involvement. I feel the same.

"A 29-year-old attorney, Charles Finney saw so many Scripture references in Blackstone’s Law Commentaries that he bought a Bible. On October 10, 1821, he decided to head into the woods near his home, saying:
“I will give my heart to God, or I never will come down from there.”
Finney began preaching, presenting the Gospel with a convincing lawyer’s argument and praying in common, colloquial language.

Finney's  revival preaching paved the way for evangelists Dwight L. Moody, Billy Sunday and Billy Graham.

Concerning the Kingdom of God, he wrote

“Every member must work or quit. No honorary members.”

Charles Finney wrote:

“The time has come for Christians to vote for honest men, and take consistent ground in politics or the Lord will curse them…

Politics are a part of a religion in such a country as this, and Christians must do their duty to their country as a part of their duty to God.”

Charles Finney concluded:

“God will bless or curse this nation according to the course Christians take in politics.”

"To whom much is given, much is required"

You haven't read much about our Founding Fathers and their connection to FreeMasonry.   You might not even be aware of many of the policies within the FreeMasons.   Who Guards the Gate?  Who Guards the Ear? Who Guards the Eye?   3 Little Pigs were [Released] Today.

But I agree with much of what you say!

The free masons are everywhere. My uncle was a 32nd degree mason, knew the bible better than I, and was a racist big time. I have talked to a few masons about getting out. No way. There is a lot of corrupt influence in Washington politics that is unknown to  99.9% of the people. We got problems in our country for sure, H B. But it's the best country to live in till a better one comes along. Do what we can. Pray for them.

Hi Dennis: It just occurred to me that maybe another route might be to create inventive little passive 'boobie-traps' that shoot out pepper spray or paint or ??? when activated from within our house??? (Thinking out loud here what would MacGiver do??? LOL)

Then, if they are still intent on getting inside we could definitely be 'in fear of our lives' and take defensive actions with firearms. Yes, I agree that no matter what there are legalities that will have to be overcome in court of law, still, we will be alive to face those legal challenges, right???

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
