The triune nature of the one God is rather easy to understand once you accept it is a fact.

Water is wet.

Fire is hot.

We accept facts all the time and never again stumble over these very rudimentary reasons and rationale.

God is one.

The Father is God

The Son is God (incarnate; having an additional nature)

The Spirit is God.

All three are the one God.

I have supplied and will supply the biblical proof of these points in other threads. I do not wish to bog this one down in the

inevitable debates / challenges / interpolations. But rather to point out that all three are also Fathers.

Fathers of different things / people.

Father in scripture is an analogy to creator.

The devil is called the father of lies (John 8:44).

The Fatherhood of the Holy Spirit is that he is the Author of scripture (2 Peter 1:21).

The Fatherhood of the one we call God the Father / Heavenly Father / Our Father etc. is solely in his one creation the body / humanity of Jesus

(Hebrews 10:5 / Hebrews 1:5 / John 1:14).

Many (including the framers of the so-called Apostle's Creed)  presume the Heavenly Father is the Creator of the Old Testament when clearly

he is not (John 1:3 / Colossians 1:16 / Isaiah 44:24). Isaiah 44:24 declares the one who created all things created in the beginning did so alone

by himself. So that eliminates the cult's attempt to explain John 1:3 / Colossians 1:16 as Jesus only being a medium through which the Father created all things

and it emphasizes "ONLY begotten of the Father" as the only creation of the Father.

So, Jesus (preincarnate) is the Father of creation.

All three are Creators of different things. All three are Fathers. But we emphasize the Father of the Lord Jesus as THE Father / Ultimate Father since his is the

Master Authority to which all else (including God the Son and God the Holy Spirit) submit.

We are also enabled to be children of THE Father not by birth but by rebirth through faith in his one and only Son Jesus through the adoption of sons (Romans 8:15).

The saying we are all children of God is true in the sense that we are all created by God the Word (Jesus preincarnate). But only Christians (believers in Jesus) are adopted children of

God the Father.

Indeed.  Very profound post. Shalom

1 Corinthians 15:[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
[23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
[24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
[25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
[26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
[27] For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
[28] And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

I like your opening statement. If God has said a matter is so, then it is so. But we accept things like fire and water by first-hand experimental knowledge. Not so the Triune God. The Bible's statements pose problems to the human intellect, but we cannot dismiss the intellect because in nearly all other matter, it is that very gift that leads us to understanding the remaining 99% of the things of God.

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter (Pr 25:2)

By the laws of logic and by following a matter to its logical end, we arrive at the meaning in almost all things. But in the matter of the Triune God, we are taxed beyond our means. In our experience - an experience that never changes - a father cannot be his son at the same time. Nor can a father be God alone and yet His Son is also God - and God alone. But therein is a comfort. My God is just so big and great and complex. I would have it no other way. I want a God Who is too big for me to understand.

And He, in turn, is pleased when I exercise my FAITH in His revelation, especially when I cannot understand it. Abraham and Sarah must laugh at what they did not understand. But it was so anyway.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
