Encouragement

Rom. 8:28 (NAS20S)   And we know that  God  causes  all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are  called according to His purpose.

Matt. 11:28 (MOUNCE-NT) Come to me, all you who are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will refresh you.

1Cor. 10:13 (MOUNCE-NT) No trial has overtaken you that is not distinctively human; and God is faithful; he will not let you be tested beyond what you can bear, but with the trial will also provide the way through, so that you will be able to endure it.

James 1:2 (NAS20S)    Consider it all joy, my brothers and sisters, when you encounter  various  trials,

1Pet. 1:6 (NAS20S)  In this you greatly rejoice, even though now  for a little while,  if necessary, you have been distressed by  various  trials,

1Pet. 4:12 (NAS20S)    Beloved, do not be surprised at the  fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though something strange were happening to you;

2Pet. 2:9 (NAS20S)  then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from  a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the  day of judgment,

Phil. 4:4 (NAS20S)    Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! 5 Let your gentle spirit be known to all people.  The Lord is  near. 6  Do not  be anxious about anything, but in everything by  prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And  the peace of God, which surpasses all  comprehension, will  guard your hearts and  minds in  Christ Jesus.

Phil. 4:8 (NAS20S)   Finally, brothers and sisters,  whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is  lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things. 9 As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen  in me, practice these things, and  the God of peace will be with you.

In the course of our days on earth, we face various challenges. Some are the things that are common to all men and some are because we are sons of God and face spiritual battles not common to all men.

There are seasons when it seems we have reached the end of what we can endure and we may become discouraged or weary to the bone. We all carry a sack over our shoulder and burdens accumulate over time until we take that sack off our shoulder and empty it out upon the Lord’s shoulders for Him to bear.

In such times know that the Lord is present to refresh. Seek His presence and approach the throne for Grace and Help. Know that He is faithful and will let nothing touch you, but what is good for you. Trust in the Lord and rejoice for you are His son or daughter.

Empty that sack today and remember to do the same tomorrow. Do not let the yesterdays and tomorrows crowd out the joys of today.

Matt. 6:34 (MOUNCE-NT) Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious about itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

All Things Made New

1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I,John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. 7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.

As much as I try, I just cannot grasp what it will be like to see Him and a universe where there is only Joy and Righteousness. Where all struggles are gone and only peace between all before the Lord.

Me too @Alive ... I cannot grasp it either. But whenever I read of what's to come, my heart praises the Lord in gratitude & thankfulness.

Absolutely... How wonderful this will be! Peace & Joy & Righteousness 😄

Sometimes, I imagine a garden and walking with the Lord in a place that lacks nothing. Eden.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
