My Response: My spiritual father has since passed on to be with the Lord, and to have finished his course here. He was a great man, and was considered by many as being one of the top thinkers of the church in his day. Normally, I don't talk about myself, and things of this nature with others. However, for reasons of this snide remark you made which probably may would have been better if I were to have just ignored. I will let you know this: Only, just a few days ago. I had spoken to some members of his family, who are aware of the Lord's work that I am involved with. And I was told that my passion and commitment to the Lord is a real tribute to him. Finally, I want to now say this to you. If you really are what you profess to be? Walk like you talk in having made this profession of faith in Christ and the Bible. Guest shiloh357
To clarify...I doubt you accurately represent the "scholarship" of your "spiritual father." The fact remains that you have misrepresented the Greek which can, and has been demonstrated very simply by a cursory examination of Strongs, and multiple Greek Scholars and sundry resources on this thread. It is your pride, not passion that is the problem here. You don't have a leg to stand on, and it has been demonstrated with no credible refutation from you that you are mistaken concerning the nature and meaning justification. Your pride won't let you accept it. Your remarks heretofore have been extremely inaccurate doctrinally, and there is ample resources available to demonstrate that. Perhaps, if you had not jumped on this board all fat and sassy, thinking you were going to enlighten us poor dumb sheep and straighten us out, you might have had something edifying to say. So far, you just get mad when your remarks are not accepted out of hand. Passion is not a tribute to anyone when it is misdirected and covered in pride. I doubt your "spiritual father," if he were a true scholar, would have approved of the arrogant, immature attitude you have consistently displayed since you have returned to this board. Your behavior up to this point, is nothing to be proud of.

Therefore, I think it better for you and I, to have no further discussion on this bulletion board. And we will not after I finish making this post. For I am going to put you on my ignore list. I try to have a cup every morning. Put a little lemon with it, and I like it better than coffee. So you go ahead and smack everyone in the head with a 2x4 because God told you it is ok and I'll take God and a cup of Tea. Lets see, Tea...Hot and invigorating, or ....Cold and refreshing. A 2x4 painful, a weapon, asserts the power of the wielder over the receiver. The 2x4 approach is fine as long as it is God wielding the 2x4 and not "you" wielding it through your own pride.
