He also said one cannot be punished for the sins if another. How is Jesus dying on our behalf not a contradiction of Hashem's own words on the subject?

And the blood of bulls and goats and birds...? They can cleanse human sin?

If you say they are of no account then isn't that contrary to Torah?

And how has anyone been able to keep Torah all these centuries?

The ultimate Lamb of G-d came to pay the sin debt for humanity once for all (Yishayahu 52:13 - 53:12)

He did. World peace with G-d.

I have told you, repeatedly, I will never accept G-d has changed his covenant or altered the Torah by a single letter.

Again, HaShem said Yirimyahu 31:

31 Not like the covenant that I formed with their forefathers on the day I took them by the hand to take them out of the land of Egypt, that they broke My covenant, although I was a lord over them, says the Lord.

Hashem is eternal and unchanging, (his own words), and he said his covenant is forever. To say otherwise makes my G-d into a liar.

HaShem in his nature and his being is unchanging. But he can change his mind:

7 And the Lord said to Moses: "Go, descend, for your people that you have brought up from the land of Egypt have acted corruptly.   זוַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־משֶׁ֑ה לֶךְ־רֵ֕ד כִּ֚י שִׁחֵ֣ת עַמְּךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶֽעֱלֵ֖יתָ מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם:
8 They have quickly turned away from the path that I have commanded them; they have made themselves a molten calf! And they have prostrated themselves before it, slaughtered sacrifices to it, and said: 'These are your gods, O Israel, who have brought you up from the land of Egypt.' 13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, Your servants, to whom You swore by Your very Self, and to whom You said: 'I will multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens, and all this land which I said that I would give to your seed, they shall keep it as their possession forever.' BTW that verse about HaShem not changing is:

Malachi 3:

3. The Jews don't speak to the dead.

What is dead and what is alive. Jesus said: "the stones will cry out!” (Luke 19:40) The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it. (Habakkuk 2:11) Dead things rot and decay and rapidly become useless.

The "Jews" believe everyone is redeemed within a year of death. They believe in a life after death - the immortality of the soul and the physical resurrection of the body at a time in the future.

We are told:  "Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists," (Leviticus 19:10) Christians and the Chabad try to explain that. Although, I question how successful they are in their attempt.

I never said that he wasn't. But from a Jewish perspective:

1. He is not the Messiah

2. He is dead.

3. The Jews don't speak to the dead.

A lot of "Jewish" people believe, they just are not willing to come out of the closet. So they speak about Jesus in a code. Or they claim Jesus was following the teachings of Hillel the Elder when he taught:  the expression of the ethic of reciprocity, or "Golden Rule": "That which is hateful to you, do not do unto your fellow. That is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary; now go and learn."[5]

Buddhists do the same thing. Buddhism: “Whatever is disagreeable to yourself, do not do unto others” (The Buddha, Udana-Varga 5.18 – 6th century BC).

They try to show His teaching was long-established. Of course, Jesus did add to what we receive from Moses.

@JohnD Let's just consider ourselves at an impasse, and accept that we probably just worship different deities.

Mmm okay... but they come from your same Bible.

So you say. But your G-d is so utterly inconsistent with Hashem I have to wonder if you're just borrowing some of the names.

Actually one and the same G-d. Just more to him than you will even consider.

Every one of your challenges were answered in the Tanakh.

Every one.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
