. . . How many here stuck to the OP? It was not about Homosexuality in general, but about how america has been brainwashed into thinking that it is OK, if its their preference.

A small child knows this isnt' right, but is corrected by his mom to not think what the conscience the L-RD gave him can be trusted.

This is what we should be addressing.

It is about fighting G-d and his holiness.

This news clip was made to be shown just after the Movie about Penguins came out, to refute what it was basically saying that there is a CREATOR, and that his design in all things is perfect and in that perfection is not same sex unions.

Why have we gone four pages and this not addressed? I even took 3 hours to get high-speed hook up and to watch over and over the clip to make a trasciption so you could read what is being promoted.

The issue here is not about how we should or should not treat those who believe in this "lifestyle" or what type of sin it is, but rather what I have addressed above,

Can we stop calling them "homos?" I know, you might not mean it like that, but that is considered to be very derrogatory. The full term "homosexuals" should be used. I know, they are living in sin, but there is no call to be demeaning.

Yomo, my little english rose, I have bee admonished and rebuked for using that name,because I refuse to bow down to political correctness. Yet I haven't seen anyone running to the rescue on murderers, rapists,paedephiles or child pornographers or the like. In fact a lot of people on this board are giving Ophra a bad time a and referring to her as a new-ager. philosopher and in general a bad influece among other things. If our stupid respective govts had not made homosexuality legal between consenting people of the same sex, they would still be called queers or poofs. So the govt, changes the laws and all of a sudden homosexuality, abortion, prostitution become acceptable behaviour. How can you not pass derogatory remarks about someome who leads a degrading lifestyle.

I'm like you in a way. What does a pair of so-called homosexual penguins have to do with a christian notice board anyway.

But shouldn't we, as believers, be above using derogatory labels for others? Even if they've earned the title, does this mean we should use it? When we know for a fact that a term is offensive, shouldn't we refrain from causing offense? As people of grace, shouldn't we show evidence of this in our speech and actions toward others? Particularly when someone is bound in their sin, should we treat them with disgust and disdain, or show them compassion and grace? Why do many of you view them as enemies instead of as victims of the enemy?

It may be just a word to you, and you may view it as well deserved but I don't recall Christ calling the woman at the well a whore, even though she technically was one.

As I stated in another thread earlier, the word n*gger is believed to be derived from the Spanish word Negro and simply means black. It started out innocently enough and was used as a simple description in the 17th century..but by the 19th century the same word was/is a full-fledged racial slur. So do we stubbornly refuse to give in to culture and continue using this word because it simply means black? Or do we use discretion and refrain from using it because we know the harm this word can do? I would hope that as people who have been shown grace and forgiven of our sins, that we'd remember where we've come from. There are many derogatory titles that I'm quite certain I deserve, but I'm so thankful that instead of defining me by my sin I have a Savior that see's me through the eyes of grace. We should seek to see people...all people...with the same grace, compassion and love that we've been shown.
