The ever present danger is allowing those non salvific issues to cause divisivness and strife. We can disagree and still have fellowship in the Spirit. Unity in our common Salvation and rejoicing together In Christ. Amen? 2

Unity in our common Salvation and rejoicing together In Christ. Amen? AMEN! Diversity of teachings does not necessarily a "False Teacher" make, in my book. Sure, there is one version of the real truth and the Lord will ultimately let us know exactly what that is. I meet with folks who hold a variety of bible-based teachings as true, but we don't consider any of these doctrines to be "core beliefs." We all share the one Spirit and must embrace that we're all in one body. Therefore, we shouldn't let any of the non-core beliefs be a division for us. (and if some core belief is infringed upon, then that needs loving consideration and correcting) A danger is that we proudly declare something like what is said in 1st Corinthians 1:12 - "I am of Christ!" As Paul points out . . even standing on that in pride is divisive (as it implies others aren't of Christ).

I get what you are saying. I have some friends who believe differently than me that God only sent Jesus to save some. I believe Jesus was sent to save all - even though all will not be saved. These friends of mine are genuine Christians. I will see them in heaven. I have others who believe that you must be baptized to be saved. I don't believe that, but those friends, albeit wrong, are saved. There are the "majors" and then there are the "minors". If you disagree with me on the "minors" - it's alright. 1 1

The test of the fruit of behavior. 2. The test of sound doctrine. 3. The test of submission to Scripture. 4. The test of teaching the pure Gospel of justification by faith. I was not the one who said it. Your response was a bit much though.
