I used to think it said, the Lord is my Shepherd i shall not want. One sentence. But i found out it means being contented.

In the Hebrew it means "I shall not lack" Even tho, we are (and should be) content, the context of that scripture is talking about that we will not lack anything that we need or desire (as long as we draw near to God 1st). It is also an all-inclusive word; that includes we will not lack in our finances, we will not lack in our health, we will not lack in our relationships......>>

Hi @LastDaysJames One of the great titles of the Lord is Jehovah-Jireh.

(I wouldn't see here some reference to the so called prosperity gospel, though.)

Wondrous to find our sufficiency in that Great Shepherd the sheep, Hebrews 13.20-21: 

"Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

²¹ Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."

Psalm 46.10: "Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen (or: nations), I will be exalted in the earth."
