The scripture is speaking of something different.  In 'the last days',.. not the earlier days, but right at the end of this era....when Christ starts appearing in the sky (could be there a few days) is when the mountain of the Lords house shall be 'established' above all kingdoms great and small on earth to rule over the nations. 

Satan will be put away first - bound, then his house destroyed.  This system of Babylon that made the nations drunk.

Of course believers now follow the spiritual laws of the kingdom of God, but nations do not, ....they don't believe in the one true Living God, but they will after this mess is cleaned up, and the remnant of the nations will come and worship the Lord God, not just Israel, but the gentile nations also.

 

Isaiah 2:2   And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

Proof of the Millennium.  This verse cannot be interpreted as something that already happened.  It never happened before ever.  Right up till Christ's return, there is only war, and much death and destruction.  It's the 2nd Coming that will open the eyes of all, and those who will be spared will not forget what they witnessed.
