Another sign, or the precursor to one?

I read over on WND that Biden has authorized the Fed to begin looking into establishing a digital currency.

Another step toward the beast system where all buying and selling is under its control.

Another step toward the final fulfillment of prophecy and the return.

Maybe something we should look on with trepidation and fear, or maybes something we should look on with celebration because it brings the return nearer?

Two things:

[1]  Don't read the WND.  Whether it is satire or not is quasi-debatable.  But it is for CERTAIN fear-mongering and so far right-wing that cannot appeal to rational thinking.

[2] Why would you fear the end?  Why would you celebrate the end?  It all is what it is.  To fear it makes you live a sad and pathetic life.  To celebrate it and desire it to be immediate makes you ignore the work God has for you today.

Don't bash your mind over yesterday.  Don't fear and worry about tomorrow.

Christ will return when he returns.  Live daily for the Lord and do the work he has for you.

You could always read Executive Order 14067, I mentioned WND because that is where I ran across it as a reference to their article.

 

(FWIW, I read many news sources, both "Right wing" and "Left wing", and look for whatever truth may be presented in them, something both sides have some degree of no matter how much I may dislike one or the other.  I don't ignore any source of information, but I do test it for truth before accepting any particular thing it says.)

So far right wing.... unfortunately that's just another way of saying they're right.... again. And no one wants to admit it.

If we were talking info wars, I agree with you. It's largely propaganda. But WND actually understands what actual journalism is, it's not the garbage we see from CBS or info wars (both equally garbage)

The problem is people see so much  the biased, dishonest propoganda that is coming out of major news outlets these days, that they no longer recognize true journalism. They think the propoganda from the major news outlets is actual news, when it is not.

OP here, I have to ask forgiveness for this post, it has turned into a divisive political argument that is dividing us from one another in the spirit of Christ and I never considered it would turn out that way.  It was actually meant to provide some discussion of the coming difficulties we will be facing and what the Lord will expect of us as Christians, not to divide us on political lines.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is WND? I really don't know. In response to your post, I think its definitely a possibility that a global digital currency will be created. That's why I encourage Christians to stockpile food and water. It's good not only in case of natural disaster, but also in case buying becomes impossible by the government.
