Jesus gave incredible power to his followers, why don't we use it? A question each of us needs to ask ourselves, no one else can do it for us. He gave them power and authority, and then sent them out. We have no power until we are sent out. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Once you know, you go. Acts 5:20 Go, stand in the temple and speak to the people all the words of this life. Once you accept the fact that the Lord is going to push you beyond your comfort zone, so that all the sufficiency is his alone, you will be operating in your own ability. That is the question. You'll find many more Christians, people who call themselves Christians, maybe the majority of then, arguing "I can't" when faced with worldly difficulties that stand in the path practicing God's word than using the power that Christ has given us to do those things he says we are to do in spite of the world opposing us than you will find Christians that call upon that power and doing them anyway. When you argue in favor of :I can't" then you can't. Remember Peter walking on the water when Jesus called him to do it, he did just fine as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus then when he looked around him and saw where he was and what he was doing and knew the he couldn't (I can't do this) it, that he couldn't walk on the water, he sank. Don't sink yourself before you start by looking for reasons to justify "I can't, because through Christ all things in accord with his will, and his will is expressed throughout the Bible if you have doubts about what it is. Do you realize the incredible power you have been given?

In Jude 9 where Michael, one of the archangels, would not dare to pronounce a judgment against the devil, but instead said, “The Lord rebuke you.”
