1/ a real Christian life style, this is radicle different from the life style of non Christians and is something that will generate conversations.

2/ a Christian book on ones desk at work, that one is seen to read durring lunch breaks, will again generate conversations.

3/ be aware of what is happening in the world, the politica/economic grounds for them and being able to talk from a Christian perspective on them.

I agree about the prior importance of personal testimony and indeed the Scriptures in one's life.

I do think that the subject is one of those Romans 14 issues that there will likely be various views about, don't you?

@Mr. M Oh I certainly agree that tattoos are not necessary, in that sense.

It's also clear that the most conservative of ppl have it done confidently.

So I also think that the fact that very widely the most conservative of ppl seem to have it done forms part of the background for the perceived potentials of faith based/Scripture tattoo designs as witness tools......which is really the point of the poll.

@JasperWalls11 Yes, I'm sure this has something to do with it.

You are describing the sort of place that women would naturally feel comfortable entering - alone, even.

Whereas the dingy, industrial section establishments might be the sort of places where women might not go at all.

Maybe decades ago, legalists might have tried make sweeping statements such as: "Nice young ladies don't get tattooed".

Whereas in fact for a Christian college student, preacher's daughter, etc.. going to a comfortable salon-like place with welcoming female staff for a Bible ref., or Christian fish sign <>< on a wrist, etc., is exactly the sort of thing that many nice young ladies might in fact do.

I read GodsGrace's comment and what she says is anecdotal but likely sounds rather accurate, in fact:

I am very inexperienced in this forum as to getting around in it. I don’t know what poll you are referring to or how to access it.

Okay I see it above. I voted just now. I have no opinion on this question due to being very unaware of the Tattoo genre

I have one small flower tattoo to commemorate my first trip to Hawaii over 30 years ago.  That was plenty for me and now it looks like a dried flower. 

 Young people think they are so cool now but wait 50 years. Wrinkled tattoos are not the same kind of artwork they were.

Did you see the poll, above?

It's specific to Christian tattoo designs and to whether the can be successfully used as a witness too.

(There is a range of possible responses, anyway.)

Re. your comment, I think today if tattoo fade ppl might just go back to a tattoo parlor and have a little bit of pigment gently shot in again.

It seems that it's so hugely widespread that - for some demographics now such as nurses - receiving ink has become informally established as part of being in the profession.

Since it's become informally established as part of being in the nursing profession, then for the Christians among them it likely has strong potentials for faith based ones being discreetly used as witness tools.

So you're right that a tattoo can eventually start to look like a dried flower; it can also be freshened by a little more pigment being shot in.

Thanks for participating in the poll; so I guess that whether or not you would ever actually receive anything specifically faith based you as a tattooed lady would reckon that they do indeed work as witness conversation tools; thanks again.
