That is why Jesus is warning saved believers to be ready or else be cut off to be with unbelievers when that fire comes on the earth.

Besides being a Christian in our faith and in our lives, what does one have to do to "be ready"?

Is there something (Biblical) that we have to do to earn our place in the Kingdom and not be left behind?

29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

Note,Jesus said "first gather the weeds to be burned"then gather the wheat into my barn. The weeds are burned first.

Where are the weeds being burned?  Outside of his barn and thus in the world where the wheat & the weeds were prior as in the field.

Quote

Whats wrong ,have you not received any rain?

Those who receive rain are not burned. Its those that's stand without that burn.

On the contrary....  both that which receives the rain but one that grew thickets & thorns, that earth is burned, but still that earth had received the rain.

Hebrews 6:7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from God: 8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

What is the rain?  The same as that Whom is the seed.  Christ Jesus.  In the parable of the Sower, the one that had the seed eaten up by the crows, are the unbelievers.  The two earth that were not fruitful that had not grown on good soil is the result of what was sown on the earth of thickets & thorns whereas the earth that had received the rain in growing good things prospered.

It is akin to what a believer builds on that foundation per 1 Corinthians 3:10-17 as in what he sows towards; the works of the flesh still after salvation or looking to Jesus Christ to help us lay aside every weight & sin daily to let Him continue His work in us by Whom the fruits of righteousness comes from.

Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:.... 11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Well as far as looking to Him to help you lay aside every weight & sin daily in walking in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son, there is that readiness to not value anything on this earth that you would be tempted to go back for as if you can bring it or someone you love with you.  Luke 17:26-37  <---- Note the warning in verses 31 & 32 for going back to bring something with you.

Like it or not, some saved believers will not want to leave to attend the Marriage Supper in Heaven in favor of their everyday lives.

Luke 14:15-24

Quote

Is there something (Biblical) that we have to do to earn our place in the Kingdom and not be left behind?

You cannot earn that place when we are hoping in Him to have us ready as found abiding in Him & be willing to go too which is why He exhorts us to pray that we may escape what is coming on the earth as He is able to keep us from falling & present us faultless.

Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. 34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Jude 1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Lot's wife didn't want to leave Sodom behind either.

She paid the price for it.

Right for why saved believers are to pray that they may escape what is coming on the earth that they do not get overcharged for the cares of this life that the day takes them unaware.

In the case for Lot's wife however, Jesus gave her as an example as a warning against looking back when He appears as if that saved believer has something valued in mind to bring something with them.  We need His help to leave everything behind.

Luke 17:31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife.

1 Cor 15-

21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.
22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.
23 But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.
The context here (v.21) is the resurrection.  v.23 tells us exactly WHEN the resurrection will occur:  when He comes, a reference to the Second Advent, since the OT prophesies about just two advents; one as an infant and the other as King.
And v.23 also tells us who will be in this resurrection:  "those who belong to Him".  Since ALL saved people belong to the Lord, at the Second Advent, all the saved from all history will be resurrected.
v.23 also notes "Christ, the firstfruits".  This shows that Jesus Christ was the FIRST human to receive a resurrection body.
Acts 25:23 - that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

Rev 20:4-6 tells us that the resurrection of all unbelievers will be 1,000 years later at the end of the MK.
I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years
(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection
Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
The red words all refer to the first resurrection, which will be for all believers of all time, at the end of the Tribulation.  The blue words refer to all unbelievers 1,000 years later, to appear before the GWT judgment.

False.

Those who recieve rain are not consumed. They that are left of the nations shall go up year after year to keep the feast of tabernacles.

EVERYONE THAT IS LEFT.

Zech 14

12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.

14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.

16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.

18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the Lord will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

EVERYONE THAT IS LEFT.

The weeds are not left. They are consumed.Raptured away.

Left behind like Noah.

You have absolute rights to believe whatever you want to believe as you come with your theory and insisting it on others.

And I believe what scripture says.

I hope that I will be left so that I can go up year after year to keep the feast of tabernacles like the scripture says.

I've finally found the rapture in the bible.Yes it was there all along. The weeds are gathered first.

The wheat will just have to stay behind and inherit the earth.Alot like the days of Noah when the weeds were taken away by the flood and Noah was left.

Mathew 13

24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. 26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.

27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’

28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.

“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’

You are correct that the weeds/tares are taken out first.  They are not caught up and changed in a twinkling of an eye and will not ever be with the Lord.  The rapture is found in connection with the rest of the dead resurrection at the end of the thousand years.  Those who are alive and remain are caught up and changed.

Looking forward to being left behind.
