In Oklahoma, medical weed is legal. I think this is a huge mistake. Thankfully, recreational did not pass in a recent vote.

This stuff is far stronger than what we had when I was a kid and based on how many dispensaries there are around town, near half the population are driving around high as kites.

Dangerous and one reason I sold my motorcycle. I am convinced all of this is evil.

When people in my state were trying to pass legalizing medical marijuana, the organization behind legalizing it was a george soros group. My first introduction to anything soros did. That told me everything I needed to know about that.

For a supposed medical drug, it is dispensed differenetly in my state. Not by pharmacists, but dispensaries that are run by anyone who got a license. There is no standard for it. The media actually got some from different places and had them tested. Turns out many had mold on it or tested positive for pesticides.

Now they legalized recreational pot. Lucky us. (sarcasm)

My oncologist once recommended cbd oil. I looked it up. Although supposedly thc free, studies showed that different cbd products did contain some small amounts of thc and some folks failed drug tests as a result. Costing them their jobs. Cbd oil also causes liver toxicity.

I suffer tremendous pain on a daily basis. I see no reason to use medical marijuana or cbd oil.

Thanks for this info. I am not using it now.Probably a good thing . There was a book written by a man who claimed to have been cured of cancer using it and a version of Cbd said to be very pure sold under that book/name. But blah blah blah...at least some of that is probably weed users trying to justify their habits IMHO. The tests I've seen offer some hope but I don't think it's a cure all.

I always thought the "medical marijuana" tactic was just as much about legalizing the drug as it was for helping people with issues.I did know a man with terrible back pain and I think it helped him. As you said the methods they use in having these dispensaries seem suspect to me. They are regulating it similar to booze here in PA. We have state stores that sell wine and hard liquor. That's the ONLY place in PA you can buy it, so maybe this is also a way for the state to capitalize on the sales of it?

If it is legal where you, your not misusing it, and you have a legitimate reason for it (especially if it's recommended by a doctor) then I see no reason why one can't.

People have been debating translations for ever, by now.   But is anyone familiar with Hebrew Group claiming that the Septuagint mistranslated Cannabis for another flower?

Oddly enough, there's a Recipe in the Tanakh for special spices and herbs for desecrating certain places.  And, it's supposed to have healing factors.   When they combined according to the directions, nothing happened.   They went for years stuck on this issue.   One day a Specialist in Translation said, this is error because the real Hebrew word means Cannabis.   when they broke the recipe down using cbd oil, now it worked, or did more than before in aiding pain.

I've been studying Hebrew for years and am not qualified to agree or disagree.

But if this was a wrong translation, and Hebrew people were using cbd oil, would anyone's mind change?

However, many Biblical scholars agree that cannabis does appear quite a few times, in the Old and New Testaments, and has simply been mistranslated

Hmm I highly doubt what is being sold today is really lol that good. Growing up always someone that had "pot" but to get the good stuff that always came from over seas/cross the border and cost allot more. IF I didn't know Christ I would never touch that stuff its worthless. See haha I am not thinking about health in any of this :)

Now when you lack faith with God and healing but you have faith in that Doc that tells  you this "will" help that's another story. All we have to do is take any drug and post "side effects".

As for cannabis being in the bible. No that is not true. Some say/believe a plant named I think 5 times was cannabis but there is no evidence it was.

I like the post about should you for med reasons and answered "Do not call unclean that which the LORD/Lord has made clean. Everything on earth is for my use. "

Tobacco? Playing aside were twisting a bit what God was telling Peter. The woman that asked Jesus for something Christ said we don't give the children's bread to the dogs. Was not about taking some plant and add somethings before and after it dry's out blah blah blah. Coming from a Nez Perc family.. lol there are ALLOT of things they did that helped and also made you feel really good..  ok I stop now

Absolutely and of course.  If having minor pain and minor nausea, there are plenty of over-the-counter products to buy and use.  My grandmother made homemade cough syrup back  in the day.  Break up a giant peppermint stick and fill up a mason jar with the pieces.  Then pour whisky over the pieces to fill up the jar.  Put the jar in a dark cabinet for two week.  Take it out and you have cough syrup.  My family did not and does not drink, but the homemade cough syrup was made for many years.

But for symptoms to the extreme, I believe with a doctor's advice and under his monitoring care, medical marijuana can be very useful.

There are side effects like everything else, but I don't understand people who will take both OTC cough syrup and prescription cough syrup with alcohol in it and dismiss medical marijuana.

I don't believe in the casual use of it,  but for medical purposes and under a doctor's care - for debilitating pain and nausea, I would give it to anyone.  In a heartbeat.

I have heard some medicinal forms do not contain the agent that gets people high? I don't use the stuff.

I am not for it, personally.   I am not against if someone else doesn't feel the same way.   I was raised when the Church allowed Members to stand up and Claim the Devil made them not pay their Bills so they have no lights.   Knowing they bought the steak instead of hamburger and played bingo trying to gamble for another 20 bucks.   Ain't no one out committing heinous acts on this stuff.   Misinformation doesn't hurt anyone, just makes them less aware of what's really going on.
