Romans 1:18-32

We need a reality check. There’s no doubt that the world has infiltrated the church of Jesus Christ in a pretty subtle way. In order for us to make any kind of impact on our society, we must first keep our own ranks pure and, second, we must be confrontational. We must come out of our closets and begin to speak the truth and say what needs to be said.

It has made me realize we cannot be smug and we cannot simply play church. This is not a game we can play. We can’t have this conversation without realizing we’re at war.

The history of humanity can be described as decadence.  The history of humanity is one of decline. Man’s society has been declining since Adam’s fall.  It is true that man never ascended; he has descended gradually since the Fall.  You see, man was created in the image of God, and when he sinned and marred that image, the process of decline began, and man sinks lower and lower until, eventually, he will fall into the debauchery which is described in the Book of Revelation as the time of the tribulation, and Christ Himself will come to put an end to everything at that time.

The devil always seeks to choke God's Word and make it unfruitful (Mark 4:13-20) so it's no surprise that many are failing away from the faith as God's Word teaches would happen in the end times.  In Acts 20:29 the Apostle Paul, speaking by inspiration of the Lord, warns us that after he leaves earth... false teachers would enter in.

Since that time, satan has brought false doctrine in to the church and we are living with this false doctrine today.  Most churches teach elements of the teachings of the devil and don’t even know it!

But, most churches teach the false doctrine of “eternal security” (aka OSAS), so most folks have no fear of the Lord and really don’t care one way or the other cause they think they can be lukewarm and still go to Heaven while others think they can live sinful lifestyles just like the world and still go to Heaven.

Since the majority of churches and preachers these days embrace false doctrine, they will affirm the people in their false belief because they don’t want to lose attendance and certainly don’t want to lose donations in the offering plate each week!

John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life. “Indeed, God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world but in order that the world might be saved through him."

If God loved the world so much that He sent His son to redeem those He loves --EVERYONE -- and not condemn them, then I will follow God.

So, you believe in universalism then right?  Did you just read one verse and then throw your bible away after that???

What about satan?  Some believe he’s going to be saved in the end too!

If this is directed at me, then I will respond.  Actually, I'll respond anyway. ;^)

I do not believe in universalism.  Everyone has the potential for being saved and having eternal life, but they must believe that Jesus' sacrifice paid for their sins.  If they don't believe that and accept Him as their Savior then they will not be saved.

Your second sentence is a childish insult and I will not respond to it.

OK, so now you are back tracking.... before you were saying everyone is saved.,

Now you are saying people have to do something to be saved.

So which is it that you believe?  Or, are you just confused and don’t accept the whole counsel of God?

And, yes some of the universalists think satan will be saved in the end along with all the fallen angels

what is it about keeping discussions about the subject and not each other that do you not understand??

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
