Are the earliest human without school education even able to have such an idea.

Since they did, obviously.

BTW, its a hobby thing for some people today, you might find it interesting to try.  You can buy materials such as obsidian from specialty suppliers to make incredibly sharp knives and cutting implements and high quality pieces of flint to make flints for your blunderbuss or musket.

The way the world is going, it might be a good skill for the younger among us to develop.

Gold is holy

Joshua 6:18-19

But as for you, only keep yourselves from the things under the ban, so that you do not covet them and take some of the things under the ban, and make the camp of Israel accursed and bring trouble on it. But all the silver and gold and articles of bronze and iron are holy to the Lord; they shall go into the treasury of the Lord.”

Shalom, BeyondET.

A clarification is in order: Gold is holy (set apart for God) only WHEN God sets it apart! And, He sometimes does NOT! Remember the golden calf Aharown (Aaron) made? What happened to its gold?

That's a good point, yea didn't turn out well, Moses grounded it up, placed it in water and killed all the worshippers.

They didn't play around in those days, maybe we could learn a lesson from them.

Thats not about the earliest gold in Eden in Genesis 2.

It wasn't taught to man that there was a tree of knowledge in the garden, before man was placed in it.

Adam knew of gold prior to entering the garden. The location of the deposits were mentioned by God before Adam knew of any evil, the gold was good.

Then God placed man in the garden to cultivate it, instead of searching for gold.

Cultivating the fields of the garden that had no shrubs or plants.

Out of interest's sake, the earliest hard-rock mining is found in Swaziland, dating some 41,000 to 43,000 years ago for various forms of hematite (iron ore).

Evidence of placer mining would be harder to uncover. Egyptians were apparently recovering gold, silver and copper as early as 3700BC.

Mankind has always been obsessed with seeking wealth of any kind... especially if it comes in the form of shiney things. If it wasn't gold it would have been something else.

Was it any known financial value of gold near that ancient Eden gold mine ? Value is determined by printed money.

Value is determined by the worth people place on it, not by printed money. Ancient civilizations placed values on various things from salt and spices to certain stones, to silver and gold.

Yeah, Earliest Civilization use gold and silver to buy and sell. There was no inflation and you cannot orchestrate financial turmoil like Soros did in South East Asia 1998, he made big money and most bloody turmoil in this nation.
