Your right Shadow, I should have reserved my conclusion til a later time of understanding the way ya'll discuss topics. :x:

My mistake....sorry.

So does anyone have an answer to my post regarding the "flood"

and the end thereof shall be with a flood,

and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Future????? how can it be, when God said no more.

Past??? How since the flood was before Jesus was born.

Oh my?????? :t2::t2::t2:

Blessings from the Lord God our Saviour to all

Greetings ProdigalDaughter,

I believe your Daniel reference is also referred to here:

Rev 12:15-16 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

Prodigaldaughter,

I don't think it's a flood of water.

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, Whose glorious beauty is a fading flower Which is at the head of the verdant valleys, To those who are overcome with wine! 2 Behold, the Lord has a mighty and strong one, Like a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, Like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, Who will bring them down to the earth with His hand. 3 The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, Will be trampled underfoot;

In Is 28:2 when the Assyrians attacked Israel it was described as a flood. So here I believe we see an army that is sent out to destroy Israel except that the earth intervenes and the flood is stopped.

Makes sense to me that this will be a Muslim led army as the Muslims surround Israel and hate Israel and want Jerusalem.

Daniel 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.

Wordsower...you mentioned

Makes sense to me that this will be a Muslim led army as the Muslims surround Israel and hate Israel and want Jerusalem.

which definitely clicked with me in regards to the scripture saying the above mentioned people of the prince that shall come chall destroy the city and the sanctuary....and the ende thereof shall "be with a flood" not "like a flood" but "with" and unto the end.......

Now...being that the Euphrates river carries a lot of water and if it was closed, or shut down, that could possibly create a flood to some of the land during the time of the attack...... :t2:

I appreciate both Dad Ernie and you replying and trying to straighten me out....I need all the help I can get.

Love and Peace

I wonder what the possibility is that Dan 9:27 is a dual prophecy? - Fulfilled by Jesus (God confirming His covenant of the OT) and then yet to be fulfilled.

HEEeeeeyyyyyy Patty T----it seems like it could only be speaking of a "future" event as the messiah has already been cutoff but not for Himself--in the previous vs.26---- no one has made a covenant of peace with ISRAEL yet--SO, a sevedn year peace treaty is yet to be signed{confirmed} neither has a peace treaty been broken "in the midst"of the week--3 -1/2 yrs. --in 70 ad the romans destroyed the temple & the temple hasNOT been rebuilt yet--so no sacrifices can be offered until it is rebuilt----

dan.12.vss.11-&-12---- are quite interesting---read those & see if they fit in with 9.27--???? AND look who is blessed after the 1,290 day rule of the anti--ch.---3-1/2 yrs--there is a difference of 45 days in

vss.11--&--12------most interesting----- ------GOD-BLESS------------{Gary}-- :il:

I always believed that Dan 9:27 was referring to the AC until I started really reading and studying - I believe it also could have been fulfilled by Jesus . . .

Hi Patty T,

I agree, or perhaps maybe I should say "I am persuaded such."

Did you read my post in this thread? It was the 2nd one.

Peace

William

Yes, I notice that. But in the Hebrew there is no capitalization or puncuation.

What greater evidence do you have the topic changes from the Jesus to the "anti-christ" than that assumption?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
