The true church looks like Jesus Christ in His ministry as when He returns making war with the nations, ruling with a rod of iron and treading down those who have rejected Him in the winepress.

But also enjoying the fellowship with true believers in the third heaven as we live on earth in these bodies that belong to the Holy Spirit until we pass on into a new heaven and earth

Sorry Brad, you lost me . . . .

Perhaps a little more clarification?

Blindseeker,

Again I am extremely interested in your views on this.

If most of what we are seeing today in the churches is complicit with the apostate church . . .

Thank you so much, William, for taking the time to type all this out. Much to consider.............

Of course, now I'm very interested in your views of Ezekiel's temple, it seems like such an anomaly.

Do you have some writings on Ezekiel's Temple somewhere here on Worthy Boards? If not, I'd be very interested in what you have to say about it. Thanks in advance......

Greetings All,

It has been awhile since I contributed to this thread, and I thought I might throw in some more scriptures for thought and consideration. I tend to side with Blindseeker for the most part except about the two witnesses witnessing in Jerusalem.

I personally see Daniel having been told to "shut up the vision", then John the Revelator having been given the opening of the vision until the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven.

Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

I also see the following verses correlating as regards the "timeline" and the time of the end:

Daniel 7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;

Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

I believe this is the time of "great tribulation" spoken of here:

Matthew 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Revelation 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

In regards to "antichrist" John is the ONLY place that specifically mentions this word:

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Forget all other references to the AoD, the false prophet, the man of sin and the Beast, but ONLY LOOK at those verses.

No one can conclude that the "antichrist" is ONE entity, such as a man or an angel (Satan), by just reading those verses. These verses refer to a "spirit" that is reflected by MANY from the time of Christ to the very end. It is interesting that John NEVER mentions this "antichrist" in Revelation.

In regards to the two witnesses. Let me offer this:

Revelation 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Romans 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

Romans 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?

Without debating this, can you not also see that the TWO lights (candlesticks) that have been in this world since the promise was made to Abraham is in regards to the Believing Jew and the Believing Gentile?

Some have concluded that the "olive tree" is Israel. This couldn't be further from the truth. It actually represents the "Kingdom of God" whose ruler is Jesus Christ upon this earth. Jesus NEVER once referred to Israel as the "olive tree", but He referred to them as the "fig tree". This tree was "cursed", never to produce fruit ever again. It was "chopped down" in 70 A.D. to the "root".

In regards to Mt. 24, when the "fig" tree once again springs up and puts forth new leaves, we shall know that the time of the end is NIGH UPON US. Please note that IT IS NEVER SHOWN TO PRODUCE FRUIT.

In May of 1948, the Jews once again inhabited the land of Israel. It is NOT a Godly nation. No fruit is being produced for the Kingdom of God by the NATION of Israel.

So let's take a look at Eph 1-3.

In it you will find a "habitation" being built by a carpenter (Jesus) (appropriate no?), wherein God shall dwell through His Holy Spirit therein. (vs. 2:22) This "habitation" WILL BE composed of both believing Jew and Gentile.

You might want to consider the FIRST or SOLOMON TEMPLE. Once it was constructed (completely) and all the gold and silver finery were added to it AND it was dedicated with prayer and purification - THEN the Shekanah Glory came to rest FULLY upon the Holy of Holies. THIS WAS THE FIRST HABITATION OF GOD BUILT BY MAN WHEREIN GOD RESIDED THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT.

But what do we find in the NT?

Mark 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Acts 7:48 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,

Acts 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?

Acts 7:50 Hath not my hand made all these things?

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;

2 Corinthians 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Hebrews 9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

In Mark 14:58 above, the word "temple" here is NAOS. This is the "habitation" spoken of in Eph 2:22 AND which also YOU ARE:

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

The OTHER word for TEMPLE in the NT is "hieron". Please look this up and study it carefully. It means NOT ONLY the "holy place" (which NAOS refers to) but also all the buildings and surrounds around the NAOS. IT IS the HIERON that "no stone was left unturned", and it will remain absolutely desolate until the "consummation" (the completion of God's work on this earth:

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Now I have mentioned the "Shekanah Glory" upon the Holy of Holies. We also see that the SPIRIT of Elijah shall AGAIN come and "restore all things":

Matthew 17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.

The FIRST time the SPIRIT of Elijah came was upon the PERSON OF JOHN THE BAPTIST:

Matthew 17:12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

Matthew 17:13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

NO, JB was NOT the reincarnate Elijah. NEITHER are either of the two witnesses in Revelation 11. It is appointed unto man once to die, then the judgment. Elijah was ferryed to heaven in a chariot (but before he arrived, I believe that he had been "changed to be like Jesus" - see 1 Cor 15), JB had his head chopped off, and the two witnesses will be slain and will lie in the streets for 3 days. So it becomes pretty obvious that claiming Elijah to be one of the two witnesses is absurd.

In any case look at these verses:

Romans 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Romans 11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead (WOULD YOU BELIEVE THIS IS REFERRING TO THE FIRST RESURRECTION?)?

Now look carefully at these verses:

Romans 11:30-31 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.

It is the MERCY coming from believing gentiles that will dispense the gospel to the Jews, particularly AFTER "the fulness of the gentiles be come in", because their heart will be hardened until then, at which time, followed by a tremendous outpouring of the "spirit of Elijah" (the Shekanah Glory) as both Jew and Gentile are UNITED as one in the Kingdom of God.

Well, I have already made this too long. I look forward to your responses.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

greetings

the jew .muslim and christian recognise an arrival of a savior in jerusalem.

to the jew it is yet to happen the first time.

when a temple is built they will sacrific to god and pray for a savior.

if this diplomatic ,beutiful, miracle working type shows up all will follow.

in the midst of week the sacrific will stop because a messiah will proclaim himself

god .remember there are two sacrifics.

a daily sacrific honouring the existence and recognising the giver of life.

one for sin.

when jesus is found worthy as the lamb by the court satan will be ousted from heaven.

he will sit where he ought not in the temple on earth and say ''im god and dont go sacrificing any more''

the reality is that the jews when given an oppurtunity will build another temple.

maybe an earthquke will destroy the existing mosqe so no one can be blamed .an act of god .

daniel and revelation must fit like a glove.a day for year prophecy can really confuse even amougst the most

genuine and sincere of us.

i currently beleive the book of daniel is starting to open.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
