The God of the Bible never ask for money.

Please read:-

Exodus 30:11-13

Easy-to-Read Version

The Temple Tax

11 The Lord said to Moses, 12 “Count the Israelites so that you will know how many people there are. Every time this is done, each man must make a payment for himself to the Lord so that nothing terrible will happen to the people. 13 Each man who is counted must pay 1/2 shekel of silver. (That is 1/2 shekel by the official measure. This shekel weighs 20 gerahs.[a]) This half shekel is an offering to the Lord.

It was only given once in census for the service of Tabernacle by the Levits.

God doesnt need money to buy things.

You see they don't give that money to the Levit but to buy food and drink for them in Sukkot  festival at Jerusalem.

It was a requirement  made by God.

Which shows that your claim is false.

Luke 12:48  "but he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And to whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required: and to whom they commit much, of him will they ask the more. "

It was a census donation for the Hebrew nation and the church has no right to copy that.

It was the Levites inheritance. They were not heirs with the Children of Israel

Nu 18:24  But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
Jos 18:7  But the Levites have no part among you; for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance:

The Church isn't copying that, it was a copy of the Church

The church, as a local organisation of Christians, has the right to fund itself.

If a congregation wants its  own buildi g aphid full-time  pastor,  youth worker  cleaner etc etc  etc than thatchurchhas to fund those things.

An Israelite had no choice he had to tithe.  If that was required of those under the law, what can those who are under grace freely give that exceeds the requirements  of the law.

2 Cor 9:7 each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give. Not reluctanly or under compulsion.

Its the New Testament, you give what you want to give. Not forced by anything.

Who's  talking about force. How can a Christian  saved by grace willingly out of love for his saviour give less than was legal required under the law.

Are Christian to be tightfisted and mean in their giving?
